Yes, and she was either wearing a gold pastie, or Miss Jackson has solid gold nipples.

Yup - Saw it all!!!!!!!!!

It seemed that right at the end of the little dance routine, Justin Timberlake pulled his hand back across Janet Jackson's body and either by accident or on purpose (?) pulled part of her top off.

Oh great - my two youngest sons - ages 17 and 12 are watching the Super Bowl with their Youth Group at Church. I hope they were getting refreshments during that particular incident....

I wasn[t watching, but my husband asked if I had seen it.
He thought it was pretty tacky.
Have we had the mystery guest yet?
To: mattdono
Unreal. My wife, mother-in-law, and brother all just stopped for a minute, and then finally I said, "Did I just see what I think I saw?" My brother's response was, "If you are talking about something black and pierced, then yes, yes you did see what you thought you saw."

That was pitiful. This is a pretty good game, then they decide to take out the trash during half-time. I don't know what's worse, this garbage, or new-age weirdness during half-time.

Also, Did anyone get offended when Chris Rock wore a flag by putting a hole in the middle of it. As a Vet I sure did. I'm proud of my flag.

To: mattdono
My wife saw it, I missed it, but she thought he actually pulled off her top.
Just in general, who in the world is thinking up these Superbowl Halftime Craptaculars? What in the heck do they have to do with football? And, why can't they just let the marching bands play? Would be much more entertaining.
I was surprised to see Julia Roberts in a commercial that had a flag in it. I kept waiting for them to tack on the word democrat to their vote plea.

Just who was the NFL trying to appeal to with a worldwide audience?? What a disgusting garbage halftime show...MTV is so 90s. I hope CBS is flooded with complaints.
To: wattsup
Yup. He should have know better since he was on the USO tour in Iraq. We are in a war, nothing abut our troops, and we get a pierce nipple. Football lost today, this is not going away. Viva Baseball!

That flag was desecrated. I hope someone had the good sense to give it a proper burning and disposal. That whole halftime sho just sucked IMHO...

Actually I didn't. Kid Rock is very supportive of our military men and women.
It might be good that someone let Kid Rock know. I would count if a faux-paus, but I'm not going to hold it against him.
Besides, he substituted his normal lyrics with "I'm proud I'm livin' in the U.S.A.". Most "artists" don't care enough to even say U.S.A., much less make it part of their performance at the Super Bowl.

Yes I did see it, it took a while to sink in so I asked my husband (he said he did not see anything)so I asked him to reply TIVO and there it was! Full exposure!!
We must write into CBS and complain, this was no way to represent the USA to the world! I just want to know if this was not done with her consent, he should be brought up on assault charges!!
To: mattdono
I'm sorry, is there some kind of sporting event going on today?
I'm one of those "don't like sports, don't watch sports, could care less about sports" people. Once upon a time I was a fan, but then all of the major league sports degenerated into thugball, and that was too much to put up with.

LOL...My Wife and I were watching together. Our jaws collectively dropped and we looked at each other not believing what we had just seen. Not really what they were trying to prove by showing Mrs. Jacksons breast at the halftime performance of a football game?

It's the NFL that puts this together and I think CBS had nothing to do with this. Write or call the NFL. They are responsible.

Kid Rock is an unabashed Bush supporter, so he didn't mean any offense by it. He cut a hole in the middle of the flag and wore it like a poncho. How in the world is that not offensive?

Did anyone get offended when Chris Rock wore a flag by putting a hole in the middle of itI was for a moment.
So many people do not realize this is an inappropriate way to display our flag.
He is a strong supporter of the troops.
I'm going to let it go as an overzealous and ignorant indiscretion.
To: One Sided Media
Here' the note I just sent at CBS.com:
"I was thoroughly disgusted with the half-time show. Kid Rock disgracing the flag and showing naked breasts is a slap in the face to America's reputation as a world leader and standard bearer. Bring back the marching bands and get rid of the MTV juvenile crap."
To: zoso82t
Sorry, but Kid Rock sucked, the whole half time sucked. Totally lousy.

Yes, that bothered me too. He clearly just cut up a flag to make himself a poncho. And then he whipped it off and handed it to one of the other guys who crumpled it up and tossed it on the drum stage. Yuck.

Like I said on another thread he's probably on his way to jail and they should arrest JJ for indecent exposure.
The NFL should apologize and announce CBS will never get another super bowl.
