I am so sorry you feel this way. I realize Bush has caused disappointments. I feel the same way but the alternative to Bush is inconceivably bad. I beg you to reconsider. If you're going to wait for the perfect candidate, you will never vote for another winner.

We must fight our battles in the primaries and then root for our team.

If you think you're so perfect, why are you denying us the opportunity of voting for you. Why don't you run? You owe it to us and humanity.

Sarcasm doesn't fit very well and it doesn't do much to convince me to change my mind.

I realise that nobody is perfect. However there are some things that I look for in a candidate and in a Leader.

Will he lead? Will he Fight for what he believes in? Does he support our Countries Constitution.

Bush fails in 2 of 3 areas. He won't fight for what he allegedly believes in (his judicial nominations, partial birth abortion or the CFR) and he doesn't support our Constitution which is evident by his wanting to spend more and more on big government.

Now, my question to you is, why do you continue to support someone who is going right along with selling our country and it's people into debt and will not fight for his Judicial Nominees?

Maybe if we got a Democrat as president more of YOU would wake up and start kicking these jackass politicians in the fanny and making them get with the program.

Republicans should mean something entirely different from the Democratic Party. The way I see it today is, it's just Democrat Lite.

I won't support that.

You must think we were better off with Clinton than Bush. Sorry, I'm very, very grateful Bush has been in charge of my security rather than Gore.

This current crop of Dumbocrats running for president care far more about gaining power than protecting this country.

We are in an economic recovery and we have terrorists on the run. For these reasons, Bush deserves my vote and he deserves the vote of anyone who cares about national security and the economic welfare of this country.

Frankly, I'm sick of dealing with your type that think you're holier than thou. You're so perfect you can't accept anything less that what you consider perfect.

Go ahead vote for Kerry. Remember, terrorists will be just as much after your behind as mine.

But voting against Bush is not going to make things better--it will make things worse. There may not be a second chance. This is dangerous stuff.

I have a very simple question for you. Would you rather have Bush or Kerry be president if we have another terrorist attack?

For leadership I would rather have Bush of course. But I'm not depending on the President of the US to save me or mine from Terrorists.

We have a few million young men and women out on the Front lines doing a Job I used to do. THEY are going to win or lose the war on Terror, and right now they are doing an outstanding job.

Bush has allowed them to do their Job and God bless him for that.

But a President's responsibilities go far beyond the conduct of a war.

There is hope however, it does seem that they in the white house are getting the message that we are not satisfied and will not turn out to support him.

If they put this knowledge into action then I and I"m sure, more Conservatives will come back to support him. If not, then I stand my by convictions and will not vote for the man again.

Period.

I got to thinking that if I applied your criteria for deciding who is worthy of my vote, I wouldn't vote. Sen. Grassley is a good man but a major disappointment at times. My congressman, Steve King is probably one of the best in the Congress but he disappointed me once. There were times when Terry Branstad was governor that I wanted to choke him.

My state rep. is a friend. There are times he just doesn't get it. I work for one of the best state reps in the Legislature. There are times I know his vote isn't the best vote but we're all human. They don't get any better than Steve King and my guy so I'm behind them.

I'm sure if I were pushing buttons I would also take votes I'd prefer not to take.

I despise all these Democrats so much that Bush looks very, very good by comparison. Those are my only two options.

I respect your decision and I'm sure that you will vote for the person you feel best represents your views and Ideals.

All I ask for is the same consideration. Far too often on these boards, myself and others like me, get slammed because we will not sacrifice our vote on the Bush Alter. (Up until this year I always voted a straight republican Ticket, I won't this year.)

I worship one being and that is Christ.

Bush is a man and not automatically deserving of my vote just because he is good on the war on Terrorism.
