Bush Earned Our Hate

I would like to say a kind word about George W. Bush: He's usually not as dumb as he pretends to be.

Acting dumb is Bush's style. He likes to sandbag people. He plays dumb, people underestimate him and, all of a sudden -- wap! He nails them.

I'm still waiting for one of you to show that the NEA still funds things like "Piss Christ".... you guys keep spouting that garbage and can't give one example.

If life in America is so horrible for you, planes and boats leave the country every hour. You can drive to Mexico or Canada. I'd be happy to provide info to you about the most expeditious form of egress. And the best part is no one will try to stop you from leaving.

Bush isn't dumb. Just bought.

It sounds like a bit of Pyrric posturing going on by those who feel that Bush might lose in November just so they can say "I told you so."

That is a large part of liberals like Sorenson's incoherent rage. If it wasn't Bush, it would be some other Republican and probably one far more conservative than Bush. Libs had thought that they had won the cultural war as well as the political war. Now they've found that there are substantial numbers of conservatives who are derailing the rad-lib express to oblivion, and it drives them crazy. If they're this upset with a moderate conservative like Bush who doesn't even say bad things about people who hate him, I wonder what they'd say about me after I eliminated all the lib pet programs and called them names to boot?

"I did the math on that. It works out to less than 28 cents for each of us over the next four years if the increase is renewed each year. I am willing to reimburse the 28 cents to anyone who asks. Any interested parties can just Freep me with their name and address, date of birth, Social Security number and Visa number and the 28 cents will be on its way ASAP."

That offer was made on post #25. Any takers? LOL

Glad you posted the actual cost again. Had seen your post on another thread, was trying to find your calculations and couldn't remember your 'last' name.

Wow! Two blatant lies right off the bat!

"When that surplus vanished, Bush cut taxes anyway and sent "refund" checks out with borrowed money. And the big beneficiaries were people in Bush's circle: the rich and the very rich."

Golly geez, Batman! I didn't know I was rich, very rich! And to think, I should have spent MY returned money on a new fur coat instead of the massive medical debt we incurred when fate dealt us some terrible blows. Silly me!

"I started to get angry with Bush when he started his term as president by effectively cutting off American funds to foreign organizations that might provide abortions for poor people. Deliberately restricting a medical procedure to people in need is hardly compassionate."

Oh, my! Like the "International Family Planning Programme" that the Times of India busted for FORCING and COERCING impoverished women into abortions and chemical sterilizations? Yup, forcing women to accept implanted and questionable birth control devices in their bodies, even though it was leading to serious side effects, was something every American should support and PAY FOR! Got to kill those babies around the world, don't you know?

Oh, please, someone refute the rest of this dreck! I've already wasted enough of my precious time pointing out the flaws.

I've heard Tancredo say that he supports and will vote for Bush this November. :)

It's not just the 28 cents.

How about offering to pay the same amount for all the domestic discretionary spending and pork the GOP congress and Bush have enacted and will enact while holding both Houses and the presidency?

You got that kind of cash on hand?

vote tancredo....

And you can sit and enjoy the same smug satisfaction on November 3rd as Ralph Nader's supporters did the day after election day 2000.

Meanwhile, I'll be thinking of you as tax cuts are repealed and terrorism is once again treated as a law enforcement issue, i.e. wipe up the blood, sweep up the body parts, and send out the mid-level government functionaries to sort through the rubble for clues. good idea.

Tancredo isn't even running for president;he's supporting President Bush's reelection!

So,anyone calling for others to write in Tancredo, are worse and far more foolish, than those who voted for Ralph Nader the last time around.

Nah Ah. George W. Bush is actually a Franklin Delano Roosevelt Democrat but an FDR Democrat is a conservative to the kooks and wackos who are in the mainstream in today's Democratic Party.
