Thank you for posting this - Rush was hammering it very hard today too .. and he had me laughing at Kerry's statement on the senate floor about not making a distinction between those who served and those who don't (1992 - which tells you Kerry didn't like bashing Clinton for not serving) vs. what Terry is saying about Bush being AWOL.

Rush's advice to KERRY .. get Terry on the phone and tell him to SHUT UP! These people are just tooooo funny. They don't know what they believe!!

My stepson is in the Air National Guard and was in Iraq when Baghdad fell. They stopped several terrorist attacks - one a poisoning of their water, another a poisoning of their food and another was a truck bomb. He was shot at and has missiles go right over his head. He helped Iraqi wounded and he and his group risked their lives to save innocent Iraqi lives. I am more proud of him than words can adequately express.

The Rats had better NOT diss our military in any way, shape or form. Does Kerry honestly think he is the only veteran who has served with distinction?!!!

Kerry is an elitist SOB with the appeal of a cockroach.

Mike called me last night from Iraq and I told him of McAwful's statement that *Bush did not serve in the military*...Mike said, *so the Guard is not military, then WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING HERE*?

Mike also made an interesting point...if Kerry is elected come Jan 04 God help the troops in Iraq, they will either be pulled out, or under NATO or the UN's control....all we've accomplished will have been for nothing.

I'm in the Az Nat'l Guard and I've been to both gulf War I and Iraq. I can't believe how stupid these guys are in trying to make this comparison with so much of the Guard deployed to hostile fire zones today.

What Kerry said is that we need a President who actually knows something about aircraft carriers. I'd bet a steak dinner that Kerry never came close to a carrier while he was in the Navy.

This guy is disgusting. Calling veterans war criminals, dishonoring heroes by throwing medals away, an anti-military voting record and an ADA rating higher than Ted Kennedy. And now he struts around like some kind of Patton incarnate. Veterans have got to get the word out about this phoney.

THANK GOD for the NATIONAL GUARD.....with the way the DEMS DECIMATED the MILITARY during x42's reign....we can THANK THEM whenever we have to send National Guard units out of the US to protect US interests or FREEDOM in other parts of the world. Kerry and his ilk also CUT the budgets of those doing undercover work, which makes the military job that much more difficult. Kuck FERRY and his Merry Band of THIEVES.

As a Texan who is familiar with the Texas National Guard, I'm insulted by the idiotic comments from Kerry and Terry.

How is it an insult? People did get into the Guard during the Vietnam war to keep from being drafted into infantry, etc.

They certainly did. I was not so lucky but now I have considerable respect for those who have actually experienced combat.

I served in the PA NG from ''72-'78. We were never deployed for war, but did serve during the horrible floods of '72 and spent some cold Feb days on interstate overpasses during a union truck drivers strike. (The thugs were tossing cinder blocks through the windshields of non-union drivers.)

We trained for war with the USSR in Eastern Europe.

This issue really p!ssed me off during the '88 campaign when everyone in the media piled on Quayle for serving in the NG.
