Anyone on this forum that thinks Kerry would be good for conservatives....doesn't belong on this forum in the first place. And you all know who you are.

That said, nobody but nobody better diss the National Guard or the Armed Forces of the United States of America in my presence. That sort of treason Will Not Stand!

If they didn't record it at the RNC, I am sure that people are gonna send copies of it.

The liberals are doing their best to get us fired up. Thanks, John and Terry! You may be adversaries, but at times you are useful idiots!

This was in my email this morning for the lowlifes that want to trash the Guard and Reserves:

NEWS RELEASE from the United States Department of Defense

No. 073-04
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Feb 04, 2004
(703)697-5131(media)
(703)428-0711(public/industry)

National Guard and Reserve Mobilized as of Feb. 4, 2004

This week the Army and Air Force each report a decrease in the number of
reservists on active duty in support of the partial mobilization. The Navy and
Marine Corps each report an increase. The net collective result is 4,135 fewer
reservists than last week.

At any given time, services may mobilize some units and individuals while
demobilizing others, making it possible for these figures to either increase or
decrease. Total number currently on active duty in support of the partial
mobilization for the Army National Guard and Army Reserve is 161,993; Naval Reserve
2,076; Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, 17,851; Marine Corps Reserve,
6,790; and the Coast Guard Reserve, 1,149. This brings the total National Guard
and Reserve on active duty to 189,859 including both units and individual
augmentees.

A cumulative roster of all National Guard and Reserve who are currently on
active duty can be found at http://www.dod.mil/news/Feb2004/d20040204.pdf .

I can see an ad now, a Video of caskets being unloaded by Military personel in full Dress Blues, with names and pictures in the lower half of the screen of Fallen Guardsmen and women.

Then end with the comments Kerry made about Bush and the National Guard.

There is a reason Our Government called up the Guard to active duty. IMHO it was both for support of the Full time units and to involve all america in those Military actions because most of us know or have a relative that has either served or is serving now.

This is gonna give Ketchup man a black eye, bigtime.

These people (Kerry, McAwful, Dems...) are disgusting, awful, and yes...UNPATRIOTIC!!!

All you have to do is remember back to 2000 in FL and how low they went to actively disqualify and "NOT COUNT" the votes of our military service people.

John "Botox" Kerry

lol, I was watching the BBC newscast on PBS (I know, I might as well had been watching prada in the 1970's) when they commented about Kerry looking younger and youngers as the campaign goes on. I listened for the botox comment, but -surprise - it never came!

As a former Guardsman, I am *furious* over this insult.

How is it an insult? People did get into the Guard during the Vietnam war to keep from being drafted into infantry, etc.

They're not saying NG service isn't noble. They're saying Bush didn't show up for about a year of his service in Alabama. At least that's what his commander in Alabama said. The democrats didn't bring this up when he ran against Gore, because Gore was just a reporter in Viet Nam. They'll bring it up this time because Kerry won medals in combat in Viet Nam.

Do they show different news where you live? The news that I saw showed Terry talking about this, but Kerry was trying not to get into it.

Here backhoe:

A decade ago, however, Kerry rose in the Senate on two separate occasions to decry presidential candidates who used their military service record as a qualification for the highest office.

On Feb. 27, 1992, Kerry defended then presidential candidate Bill Clinton against an attack by his Democratic rival Sen. Bob Kerrey (D-Neb.). As the primary season unfolded, Kerrey, who lost part of his leg in Vietnam, had peppered Clinton with uncomfortable questions about whether the Arkansan had evaded the draft.

Kerry hit back at his Senate colleague, saying: “I am saddened by the fact that Vietnam has yet again been inserted into the campaign, and that it has been inserted in what I feel to be the worst possible way… What saddens me most is that Democrats, above all those who shared the agonies of that generation, should now be re-fighting the many conflicts of Vietnam in order to win the current political conflict of a presidential primary.”

I am sure he does too -- it should be played over and over again if you ask me! Kerry comparing the Guard to going to Canada makes my blood boil!

You know what it takes to become a pilot in the Air Force, Reserves, or Guard -- same training. Now Kerry wants to say being a pilot in the ANG is the same as a draft dodger? I thought it wasn't possible to dislike Kerry anymore then I already did but he has managed to make that possible.

Those aren't dog tags, those are his balls on loan to him from his Rich Republican wife!~}

Speaking of Kerry and his balls, nobody that has had prostate surgery can say they are "cancer free" for many years. If ever. Has Kerry released his medical records?

Apparently the Dims' position is that anyone who wore the uniform but was not present in Vietnam is a draft dodger. Sheesh. I know a guy who enlisted in the Air Force because he was almost certain not to be deployed to Vienam. I never considered him a draft dodger - he wore the unform and served honorably in a function we needed.

Patton said in the "speech" that an Army is a team and he singled out the truck drivers as being just as necessary as the front line troops. And he was right. Without the Red Ball Express, Third Army wasn't going anywhere. With most of the active Army in Vietnam we sure as heck needed the Guard in case anything else flared up.

He looked that way before that statement. Rush said today that Lurch now looks like a cadaver. Then Rush remarked that the botox isn't working because Lurch still looks like a Sharpei (as in the wrinkled dog.)

I take issue with the Nat'l guard being the oldest component of the armed forces. I served with the 26th FA battalion which was represented to me as being the oldest, continually serving unit in the United States Army. They were the unit that bombarded Cornwallis into surrender at Yorktown and the colors were never retired from that time on.

6 6 6 - John Kerry

Found on a bookstore web site - an odd coincidence?
Lopez Books

666. KERRY, John, and Vietnam Veterans Against the War. The New Soldier. NY: Macmillan (1971).

The scarce hardcover issue of the first edition of this compendium of pieces and numerous photographs by the important antiwar veterans' group, including John Kerry, currently U.S. Senator from the state of Massachusetts. Quarto, fine in a very near fine dust jacket.
