I believe Bush is going to lose his bid for re-election.

And if this happens, who shall we "blame"?

done more to demoralize American voters than any two politicians in my lifetime.

Yeesh! Spend too much and too lenient on illegals, yup. But...this? Somebody done hit Farah a cracking blow with the Hyperbole Stick.

If I choose to rebel against the crabs in the bucket--and
vote for the man I think has made a stand ,and upheld the
Constitution, and Rule of Law--and those blind subjects of
Political Party loyalty those bound by the two Party
system, those who will not vote their conscious --but hold
hold their nose and vote for whatever crumbs they are tossed. If they continue to support what is corrupted,or
contrary to sound principle--I have no control over any
but myself. If Bush loses because less than enough see
justification for voting for Bush --I blame him.

You blame Bush and his advisors. No politician should ever alienated his core supporters. BTW those Arnie was a rino before the election and he is morphing more and more to the dim side!

I believe Bush is going to lose his bid for re-election.

Then again, you believe virtually every Republican outside Idaho and Utah will lose their elections.

It sounds as if this is what you would like to happen.

Maybe you missed the message that Freepers who want to use the site to, in essence, help facilitate the election of a Democrat may find themselves not welcome here.

The principle of direct voting assures that they will get the candidate they deserve. It is a shame they don't deserve more.

The first line was taken from the Farah column. The second line is yours. All I said was if Bush loses, who then shall we "blame"?

I have voted for Bushes in 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1994, 1998, 2000. And you think I would not vote Bush for an eighth time?

The line that you commented on was not mine. It was lifted from the Farah column. I do not YET believe that Bush will lose reelection, but I am growing more weary of that possibility. People tend to flock to the latest "frontrunner," and it isn't poor Howard Dean as many thought just a month ago.

You for starters, but it's not going to happen despite whiney nincompoops like Farah.

You for starters,

I just noted that I had voted for Bushes on seven occasions. If seven times isn't enough, maybe one more try!

You're welcome here, after all, debate among conservatives is what FR is all about.

But I expect GW to win convincingly, in spite of his big spending ways. I think most Americans see terror as the top issue and have faith in GW to fight it.

So then I presume they'll flock to Dubya when he starts campaigning. :-)

Of course you do, Teddy. In fact, you are PRAYING that he loses. The dreck you post daily reflects your desire to undermine Bush.

Joseph Farah is becoming the Chuck Baldwin of WND. He's railing against Arnold, who has been governor all of two and one-half months!

Farah has lost all credibility with thinking voters.

In politics, the perfect is the enemy of the good. Farah lives in some kind of Utopian dream world. In the real world we just muddle along with better or worse politicians, and GWB is certainly one of the better ones.

Also, politics is the art of the possible. You can't get everything you want, so you have to give in on some issues in order to win on the most important ones. For the most part, Bush understands this very well.

Unfortunately, I agree that on occasion recently he has given in when he didn't have to, and indeed he has weakened himself by doing so. That applies to the immigration issue, and to two relatively minor spending issues which were, nevertheless, politically stupid. I refer to the proposed increases in NEA funding and international AIDS relief.

Otherwise, Bush has done very well, and has stuck to his guns on three basic issues: the war, the defense of life, and judicial appointments. He has also given us some nice tax cuts to match those foolish spending decisions.

Well, to repeat, I have voted for Bushes seven times. I am like the old French soldier when asked if he would support Napoleon III, and he said something like this: "Of course, I whose nose was frozen in Moscow will always be for Napoleon."

So maybe this eighth vote for Bush will be the charm!
