I believe Bush is going to lose his bid for re-election. It sounds as if this is what you would like to happen.
Maybe you missed the message that Freepers who want to use the site to, in essence, help facilitate the election of a Democrat may find themselves not welcome here.

The first line was taken from the Farah column. The second line is yours. All I said was if Bush loses, who then shall we "blame"?
I have voted for Bushes in 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1994, 1998, 2000. And you think I would not vote Bush for an eighth time?

Burying your head in the sand won't change the outcome of the election. I don't think Bush will be re-elected either. I plan to vote for him, not that I am pleased with him at all but he is better than any Demacrat. People I've talked to feel betrayed and that is a very powerful emotion, one that is very difficult to overcome. Hopefully by November enough people will be able to swallow hard, vote for Bush and prove me wrong.

This is probably THE place for the spoliers to go, if for no other reason than that they don't get any jollies out of preaching to the choir on those other boards. Heck, that's no fun.
Besides, you have to recruit somewhere, and if you can snag some of the chronically disaffected - picture them as far-right Deaniacs - the effort is worth it.
As far as wanting George Bush to lose, a lot of these people were mad at him in 2000, and they will be mad at him in 3000; he could shut off the $$$ tap completely after shipping every Mexican to Yucatan C.O.D. and they'd still tell you he doesn't deserve re-election because (insert complaint here).
The DNC has to be laughing their butts off right now, because they don't have to spend a dime for this great stuff. And neither do any fringe candidates- no Perot, no Buchanan... just "don't vote at all." It's cheap, it's easy, and best of all, it now has a complete, self-justifying liturgy of built-in conscience assuagers.
