Government is destined to get larger and larger, and I'm afraid it is already too late to go back.

LOL What is that wonderful Claire Wolfe quote? "America is at that awkward stage..it's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the b-----ds!" ROFL

I too am upset about President Bush's immigration proposals and made the statement that I would just not vote for anyone for President this year. Let my anger, at the time, overshadow my judgement. I was wrong and apologize to my fellow Freepers. If one thinks voting for John Kerry instead of George W. Bush will make this all go away, just check out John Kerry's voting record on immigration. Throughout his Senate career he has usually supported higher immigration, population growth and foreign labor. It is time for all of us to reexamine our positions on issues and start thinking about whether we would be better off with letting John Kerry become president. I don't think we would be. Therefore, I will work to help reelect him.

You may " beg " to your heart's content; that doesn't make it so. ;^)

You are quite correct.

It is not my begging which makes it so.

Which it doesn't.....no matter how much you imagine that you are correct. You have now won the honor of the silliest, most pompous posting ever.;^)

The will of the people has to be made into something more than a littany of empty threats. The WILL OF THE PEOPLE must be carried forth with an In Your Face resolve meant to drive home the point that WE THe People are truly aware connected and organized to the point that the enemies of America are found muttering and wondering where the next attack is coming from. With things this far out of whack nothing can be left to chance. The "PROMISE" ... not an empty threat of IMPEACHMENT is what must be left with those who challenge our right to protest matters of this importance. Unfortunately in the past , this is where we have lost the "WILL OF THE PEOPLE" to follow through with action that can make all the difference. To get different results you have to do different things the enemy is not expecting from us!
