But John Kerry is not above manipulating the truth to advance his goals of the moment. The medals he is throwing away here, he later admitted were somebody else's -- admitting his lie from the Vietnam Veteran Against the War days (days in which he gave support to our nation's enemies):

As soon as Kerry wins the nomination Bush will expose all this. Bush is a patient man.

I love the way he keeps calling this Nixons War; how convenient to forget LBJ was in charge when Kerry was there and Nixon got us out.

Look, guys, it's not about manipulation any more. They have backed away from that. They are still trying to feed their "lie" frenzy.

The rebuttal for that is simple and it hasn't be made yet.

"Mr. Kerry had the exact same information I had and he made the exact same call I did in his vote. There is no story here. Now, about the really powerful growth in the economy. Let's discuss the magnitude of the growth of GDP last quarter. 8% I believe it was. That's a powerful number. We look for an average of 6% this year. Economic growth is a great thing. It supports the idea of capitalism. How do you feel about capitalism, Mr. Kerry?"

Yes - LBJ lied about us being attacked in the Gulf of Tonkin as an excuse to elevate things - he and his cronies in business were so deep that Haliburton complaints are among the joke of the century.

That's really Kerry. This is his book too, complete with the slur on the Iwo Jima flag raising:

McCain should shut up until his panel concludes its work.

He's giving them plenty of "the fix is in" ammunition.

Do you have any links to those sources? I'd love to send some of that stuff around, but I want to make sure its genuine. That first picture is great -- be fun to see Rove use that in the campaign.

Is that really John Ketchup Kerry? If it is, That photo should be shown over and over and over and over again. To throw away medals....yours or someone else's is a disgrace and a comtemptable thing to do. John Kerry should be ashamed of himself. Throwing medals away while his brothers in the military were still over on foreign soil dying. Shame on Mr. Kerry....shame on him.

Who said this? Kerry? Did he really say this? Source?

Sometimes demogogery gets so thick it is hard to separate truth from fiction. Thank you.

and..it originated with JFK...the Kennedy JFK...not the Kerry JFK.

Does anyone think if Kerry wins the nomination they will begin referring to him as JFK? Kerry would like that ya know. I was wondering and asking friends about it. JFK...those ARE his initials aren't they? They called John Kennedy JFK...Johnson LBJ, and so on so my question is...does anyone out there think they will refert to Kerry as JFK? Interesting thought, huh?

Don't overlook who got us in there in the first place ... Kennedy initiated our involvement in Vietnam and Johnson accelerated the process with a large scale Marine amphibious landing at Da Nang in March 1965.

Last I heard Kerry was claiming he only threw his "ribbons" not his "medals" over the fence.

He's a moron.

"Did you ever know any recent democrat to be anything other than a lying sack of shit?"

Not sure I have much to add to this. Pretty much covers things.

That doesn't look like John Kerry to me in that photo. The guy in the background - directly under the "1971" - does look like Kerry to me, though.
