So you believe we should ignore the AWOL charges leveled at Bush and the cozy Fonda-Kerry anti-war relationship? Let the RATS rewrite history as they do so often and get away with it? Not in my opinion.

But then what do I know. I only served in Viet Nam just before Kerry did and was likely stationed at the same location (Vung Tau) as he was. I spent two weeks shy of a year on near-shore coastal patrol and despised what he did when he returned. I was in college then and subject to the anti-war taunts of the protesters. I didn't advertise my military service because of that. The military has gotten over the disgrace of that period, but I'm sure many of those of us who fought there at the time agree that Kerry, with his actions after his return, dishonored the medals he received.

First I know this is an emotional issue but leave it out of this argument and be logical. Does it really look presidential for the president to be refuting petty questions as to whether or not he went AWOL, he's the president!!!! Just say you served your time and thats it. Don't dip into the other guys actual combat experience, because in all honesty Kerry does have a better combat experience compared to Bush. That is why we need to get the hell away from this. We need to set out a plan for the future not on whose Balls are bigger.

If we stay talking about this subject it will just catch on more and more and more until it sticks to him and we lose. Don't fall for this just ignore it.
