I think what Hammer did wrong was that he was commenting on how strong or weak the evidence was. That was clearly inappropriate and he should know that as a Prosecutor. There hasn't been a Jury picked yet and all these commentators haven't helped. Although, OTOH, there has to be some balance against the gaggle of Defense Lawyers and their constant stream of verbal diarrhea!!

I know, I get sick of seeing defense attorneys get on there and go into their "righteous defender" mode. But remember, everyone plays a part in "morality play" TV. A prosecutor is a public servant. As such, he gets certain privileges; but he also has to act a certain way, or lose his job.

Somewhere I read John Kerry changed his middle name so he could be "JFK" and now I can't recall the middle name shown on his birth certificate. I tried finding it on google without success, mostly because there are over a million articles about Kerry.

John Fng Kerry is such a slob. He's one of the ugliest men in the Senate. His voting record shows that he has NO principles of any value. He reminds me of Mr. Munster. What an embarassment it would be to have him as President of the United States. He's Chretiens equal in the looks and morals department!! well, at the Cal-Neva this weekend, CalNeva Casino. Over priced room, nice but boy can you hear next room, whom ever, taking a whiz, showers, banging, etc...lol.. Cold, the windows have been upgraded to sealed windows, and the wind last night howling all night, seeping thru the unleveled latched areas, keeping me up, and you walk into the casino, smoke just stinks all around til you get to your room, The State Room, simply beautiful with historic stuff there. Won nearly $70.00 on slots, KENO, lost just as much too, at the Biltmore casino, more fun, and dinner was great, and very good in meal prices. Very busy weekend in Tahoe and the weather was holding very nicely, and beautiful with the remainder of the snow there. I enjoyed the outing there anyhow. Was nice traveling on SR 108 Thru Jackson, coming into Hwy 50.... Lots of snow along the embankments, and lots of tourist too!

I'm so ticked that this trial, so far, (although I concede that it is a flurry of motions to be ruled on), seems to be going on in secret. I believe that the public is ENTITLED to at least delayed video of the proceedings. I agree that the witness list and Jurors names should NOT be made public. The media would hound them to death. Far as I'm concerned, Geragasbag's attempt to have ALL the legally obtained taped recordings, GPS, Snott's OWN interviews that HE granted to the media,the Search dog evidence and basically EVERYTHING, excluded from coming into the trial is a loser from the beginning.

My Brother from CA was here with his boys who were playing in the Jr. National Hockey Championship this weekend. The boys were praying for snow....and they got it yesterday! The boys had never played hockey outdoors and we found a nice pond for them to play after the tournament, they had a blast. Even my brothers dusted off their old equipment and played. A few "old dudes" ate the ice yesterday! ;o) Many of the kids and parents from CA got colds/sinus problems from our frigid Chicago weather.
All and all, it was a great weekend.
