Many years ago we used to be able to hear our neighbor talking on her cordless phone through our computer speakers. We told her about it and she purchased a better phone with more channels and that solved the problem. Maybe you're having a similar problem?

Maybe... That happens to a Uniden scanner I sometimes use at work. Picks up cordless phones, and I get to listen to them talk or transmitting. Not my problem, can't figure out where the call comes from, just interfers with my other frequencies I listen to. heehee...
I'll be checking....

I discovered that baby monitors do the same thing. When I was babysitting my first grandson in a different house, every time I set the monitor up in my bedroom, we could hear a couple fighting and vulgar language and little kids in the background and the whole bit. I have no idea which house it was but it was very interesting, to the say the least.

I think this theory is very close to what was probably happening to RB's speakers.
