I also believe that the government will not act if a WMD detonates in the US, in the way we would want it to act against militant Islam.

Then it should get interesting. A mirror image of what the sandmaggots are facing now. Whom do you fear the most? Islamic terrorists, or a uniformly enraged citizenry? The American citizenry is slow to anger but impossible to hold back once riled up beyond reason.

Islamic radicals are being trained at terrorist camps in Pakistan and Kashmir as part of a conspiracy to send hundreds of operatives to "sleeper cells" in the United States

But, but.....John Kerry told us that the threat of terrorism was overblown.</sarcasm

And yet our focus since 9/11 continues to be on Afghanistan and Iraq, while our true enemy, Pakistan, seemingly gets a free ride.

Hard to say who our "true enemy" is. Pakistan? Saudi Arabia? Iran? Syria? All of the above?

The issue with Pakistan I believe will be solved by simutaneous attack from three directions when the situation warrants it. Once it reaches that point I almost feel sorry for the muslims. Almost.

Here's a quote from a 2002 article about Steve Emerson's book, American Jihad: The Terrorists Living Among Us

Yet Emerson has continued to keep tabs on militants who support or promote the concept of “jihad” -- in this case fundamentalist Islam’s virulent hostility toward Western nations, particularly the United States and Israel.

His book is primarily a straightforward history of nine “terrorist support networks” based in America: Muslim Arab Youth Association, the American Islamic Group, Islamic Cultural Workshop, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the American Muslim Council, Islamic Circle of North America, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, the American Muslim Alliance and the Islamic Society of North America.

Emerson boils the story behind these groups down to this “simple formula”: They use “the laws, freedoms and loopholes of the most liberal nation on earth to help finance and direct one of the most violent international terrorism groups in the world.”

His conclusion comes in only general terms: “Operating in the freewheeling and tolerant environment of the United States, bin Laden was able to set up a whole array of ‘cells’ in a loosely organized network that included Tucson, Arizona; Brooklyn, New York; Orlando, Florida, Dallas, Texas; Santa Clara, California; Columbia, Missouri; and Herndon, Virginia.”

There are several eye-openers, though, particularly the support of the University of Southern Florida for a quartet of Islamic Jihad members; open recruiting of bin Laden supporters; and the long-running recruitment and fund-raising efforts of the anti-Israel terrorist group Hamas from its American base.

Emerson has testified before Congress. I have my doubts as to whether they were listening, or not, especially Kerry, but he did state his case when he was invited.

Just take the first paragraph of this story:

Islamic radicals are being trained at terrorist camps in Pakistan and Kashmir as part of a conspiracy to send hundreds of operatives to "sleeper cells" in the United States, according to U.S. and foreign officials.

Apparently we are not pushing Pakistan hard enough these days. When I hear the phrase "terrorist camps" I think of one and only one thing - that is to destroy the camp, and then destroy the government that knowingly allowed the camp to exist. Good bye Pakistan. You can add to the list of other states that have terrorist camps, but I will focus on Pakistan in this post.

Make no doubt about it. Musharraf is currently more afraid of the US than the terrorists in his country. But, he is playing both sides. Musharraf is evil. Do you think Musharraf would be sitting at the peace table with India if he wasn't being pressured by the US? Do you think Musharraf would act to "eradicate" religious extremists in Pakistan, if it wasn't for the US? This is not his nature. Musharraf was one of the last two hold outs in the entire world that supported the Taliban - until the US scared the crap out of him. And still then, Musharraf was hedging his bets. Musharraf was completely prepared to realign with the Taliban if US forces were not effective in Afghanistan. There are people in this world which are rooted in evil - Musharraf being one of them. This is the type of evil that exists till death.

The problem here is that the US had not changed its policy toward Musharraf. We are now in Afghanistan and Musharraf has served his pre-war purpose. And yes, I believe using your enemies - exactly the way we used Musharraf. (Democrats hate that idea.) I think we may have forgotten that Musharraf is our enemy. I'm not saying that the US needs to take out Pakistan. I think there is a very viable alternative in India. We should encourage India to fight a total war (I'm not using the term 'total war' loosely) against Pakistan. I bet this could be arranged rather easily, and we could make it look like Pakistan started the war with India.

Wow, I couldn't imagine just why Qaddafi would agree to the inspections. My first thought was that it was for $, or trade or some other benign reason. Your insight and information is chilling, and makes the most sense.

Does anyone remember that Farrakan met with Qaddafi sometime in the past few years? I believe that he has a great deal to gain, and encourages the Islamic extremists in this country.

Everyday, the U.S. government is still allowing suspect foreigner's from islamic countries to enter the U.S. willy-nilly .

The proper government action would be to not allow these foreign indiviuals from terrorist nations entry into the U.S period.

When the attacks come from these sleeper cells it will be too late.

The government re-action will be a press conference and posturing and a change in the alert color level.

The democrats and republicans have sold us out.

One of them is hiding in plain sight.

His name is Kommie Kerry, candidate for President.

I'll go you one step further.

There are Muslims entering from a lot of "non-terrorist" countries, including Great Britain, France, Cyprus, Turkey, India and dozens of others. There is no reason some of these Muslims aren't terrorists. Many "citizens" from these counties have attended terrorist training schools. Plus, there are a lot of dual passports floating around (not to mention phony ones)

We need to profile and keep out all Muslims, not just ones from "terrorist" countries. We have enough trouble just keeping track of our own home-grown Muslims, not only foreign born but also native born and converted.

Why should we add layer after layer of potentially dangerous Muslims from other countries?

(answer: Political Correctness, which will be the death of us!)

There have been arrests of muslims in NYC, NYS, NJ, PA, WA, OR, FL, VA and other locations. In every one of these the investigations were conducted with zero support from the immediate muslim community. Thanks for the help.

There was a map on the internet, created by Steve Emerson if I remember correctly, that showed the locations in each state of Hamas, Hezbollah, and AlQaeda cells...

And then overlay it with the states that the DemoRATS have major support. Likely the two will match exactly.

The islamikazi nutburgers who would detonate a nuke in America could care less if we nuked Cairo or Damascus or Teheran. In fact, they would welcome it, as long as Tel Aviv was wiped out in an exchange. Millions of martyrs for Allah? No problem.

They only care about one acre on earth, get down to brass tacks.

The black moon-god rock.
