Yes, money... I think it was $400,000 that Ritter got to do a pro-Iraq movie from an "Iraqi businessman who supported Saddam". Something like that. Ritter admits it and admits the man is connected to Saddam, but insists that the money had absolutely nothing to do with changing his view of Saddam from negative to positive.

Tamsey, you are correct. The figure reported is $400K. I don't know where I came up with the 750 figure.

There was also a memo found in Iraq authorizing agents to offer gold jewelry to Ritter, presumably for his wife. But to be fair it didn't say if he accepted, it was just an authorization for their intel people.
They should have tried offering him a lifetime supply of candy or Burger King gift certificates.
