Yep. Kerry, by law, will have to wait until July for SS protection. I guess Mrs. Heinz will either have to pay for her hub's security, or the DNC, or Congress will have to change the law. Wonder how Kerry voted on that bill in 1997.

Makes one wonder how he convinced two very wealthy women to marry him. What was in it for them?

Can’t speak for the first wife, but:

Heinz says she married Senator Kerry in part because he recognized what it means to be a “world citizen.” She attended the 1992 U.N.-sponsored Earth Summit, which spawned the theory that higher taxes and restrictions on energy use were necessary in the U.S. and other industrialized countries to curb “global warming.” Kerry was also there, and they married three years later.

The fact that a plane crash had kicked her out of the Senate Wives club may also have been a minor factor.

I have a warning for JFKerry: your enemy is within. Beware of the clintons. Be careful on planes. I see an unfortunate plane accident in your future. If you are smart, you will never pick her as your VP.

I don't know if I'm getting ill or what.

I just don't feel like trolling for a troll today, besides you're doing just great.

Senator Heinz was on a plane that crashed into a helicopter and then into a schoolyard.

Really? I don't know why I've always thought it was a helicopter crash in a schoolyard. I think I watched CNN back when it happened. :)

The pilot of Heinz's plane reported that an indicator was showing problems with his landing gear. A helicopter was dispatched to fly by and check on the landing gear but the two craft collided, killing all four in the air plus two children in the schoolyard where the plane came down.

I just looked up Sen. Heinz' bio, and it gives a little more detail about what happened when the plane/helicopter crash occurred. It also details Sen. Heinz' schooling and Air Force and Air Force Reserve service. I wonder if Senator Kerry knew that the love of his wife's life was also in the Air Force Reserve.

That sentence is contained in this article from that paper, the Boston Globe:
http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2004/02/11/success_resonates_and_reels_in_crowds/

titled:
"Success resonates and reels in crowds"
