They have always used the suffering of others as a political football. Nothing matters to them but power.That is precisely what is so base about this cartoon: foresaking real lives and insulting the dead for political points. Toles and the (com)Post have been after Bush for the tax cuts. That's fine, and they are entitled to their say, whatever. This exceeds debate.
It's yelling "fire" in the crowded theatre.
