That is, in exchange for their votes on social programs, they authorized the demoncrap government to shift the tax burden away from corporate taxes to the middle classes, in particular, The "Upper Middle Class" that the demoncraps seem to despise with such a particular odium.
Bewteen 50 Thou and 200 Thou, the individual earner is screwed ... or has to spend more time on tax evasion than on business. And while we are on this lugubrious subject, the young people from the "working classes," are the most useless rock and roll, drugged MTV Clymers this country has ever seen.
It takes a far-sighted employer indeed to work with them, instead of hiring some illegal alien for a third of the money, who will show up three days in a row ...even if he has to walk.
Then of course, it occurs to even the densest employers, that it would be even cheaper to employ these hard-working Third Worlders where they live. Eventually the system will grind to a halt, because people making 5 dollars a day .. and less ...will never be able to afford the products they are making, no matter how low the cost in American Terms. Of course, out-of-work Americans won't either!
To top it off, the demoncraps will have the votes of the MTV Clymer, The Illegal Alien, The Women, and the African American absolutely locked. Thank God for the Electoral college. We might be able to put GW back, but if we lose Congress, we are in for another round of screwing. And the Republican Party, in its official wisdom, demonstrates time and again that it doesn't care whether they are officially in power or not.
This realization, fostered by Ross Perot, is what cost George Bush père the presidency and it could happen again.
And thus arises the fallacy of your position. The people with jobs must pay for those without jobs. That is just plain incorrect. We don't have to, and we shouldn't. Read the previous post about those that refused a government handout and made their own way.
