My parents got in last night from Washington state which is in that neck of the woods. It's the second trip they've made in recent months and are raving about it more than the last time. They ventured out of WA but it was to go up into Vancouver since neither of them had ever been to Canada. I'd love the opportunity to go to WA or Oregon.

But, on a second thought, winter is not the best time to visit. I was there in January, it's not the same city as in July. They should go back in the summer.
Victoria is probably the closest I will ever get to visiting England. Double-decker busses, tea houses, flowers EVERYWHERE. And, everyone who visits Victoria must have High Tea at the Empress Hotel.
