Fantastic ad!

I don't think the Republicans would air it, they'd be too afraid of the Dems accusations, but the ad points out the stark difference between Bush and the Dems.

I think people should download it and e-mail it to everyone you know.

Also, could you please put me on your ping list -- I missed your earlier version and found this by accident -- I don't have as much time to be on the boards lately.

The image of the World Trade Center burning should be the one that includes the specter of Clinton playing his saxophone as the building burns.

Great ad! Everyone who can do this type of work should get on it right now! Screw the big media, we can do our own campaign ads without lots of $$$, and start sending them all over the internet. We CAN make a difference, look what 537 votes did!

I like it, but the audio needs to be cleaned up on Clinton.

I love the ad.

I think you should ad a line after Clinton’s remarks.

Clinton says we had no reason to hold bin Laden but bin Laden was responsible for the first WTC bombing and the USS Cole bombing and the embassy bombing. What does he mean we didn’t have anything to hold him on.

I have an idea for your NEXT ad.

Showing Kerry throw his medals over the fence, then speak - but not getting too lost in his Vietnam era, but focus on him wanting the UN to be in charge of the US troops, with a few good quotes (see quotes and links below -- I think you may want to include what he said in 1970, but an additional one from 2003, to show he still holds that position, and letting people know that dates too), then clip from Bush's SOTU speech:

"America will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of our country." Bush, SOTU, Jan. 20, 2004
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/01/20040120-7.html (for text)

and page where you can get the video, so you can clip that part:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/stateoftheunion/2004/index.html

Kerry quotes:

"I'm an internationalist. I'd like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations."
--- Kerry, Inteview with Harvard Crimson, Feb. 18, 1970
http://www.thecrimson.com/article.aspx?ref=352185

===

"We need a new approach to national security - a bold, progressive internationalism that stands in stark contrast to the too often belligerent and myopic unilateralism of the Bush Administration."

--- Kerry, Foreign Policy Speech
Georgetown University, Jan. 23, 2003
http://www.gwu.edu/~action/2004/issues/kerr012303spfp.html

=====

"And in the first hundred days in office, I will go to the United Nations -- I will go in the first weeks -- and I will travel to our traditional allies to affirm that the United States of America has rejoined the community of nations. "

I will treat the United Nations as a full partner -- not as an obstruction to get by -- not only in the war on terror, but in combating other common enemies, like AIDS and global poverty. We must seek not only to renew the mandate of the U.N., but to reform its operations and revitalize its capacity. And if I am president, the United Nations will be seen as the asset that it is, not a liability to a safer America. "

--- Kerry, Speech at Center for Foreign Relations, Dec. 3, 2003
http://www.cfr.org/pub6576//making_america_secure_again_setting_the_right_course_for_foreign_policy.php

"I believe the Bush Administration's blustering unilateralism is wrong, and even dangerous, for our country. In practice, it has meant alienating our long-time friends and allies, alarming potential foes and spreading anti-Americanism around the world."

--- Kerry, Foreign Policy Speech
Georgetown University, Jan. 23, 2003
http://www.gwu.edu/~action/2004/issues/kerr012303spfp.html

Apparently, according to Kerry, "alarming potential foes" is a bad thing!

Even in this add, you may want to add Bush's statement that we captured 2/3 of the AQ leadership and that we are hunting them down one by one.

Great ad! I had to use the Flash link, as the mpg links do not work. I got a message that said: File(s) cannot be downloaded. You cannot currently access these files. Contact the owner of these files for more information. (from Streamload).

I'd love to see the mpg's! Please ping or FReep mail me if they are available.

EXCELLENT! Thanks for buying more bandwidth, at least I'm assuming that's what you did. At any rate, EXCELLENT ad! I really can't see why it wouldn't be used. I'm assuming you yourself have forwarded this to his campgain. If you haven't already, I would strongly suggest it.

I can't play any of the mpg files. All of my mpg players say the format is not supported. Other mpg files that I have work fine.

The Flash file is great, but the Clinton commentary is difficult to understand. Captioning would solve that.

The ad does a good job of showing that Bush has been a good prez, and Clinton failed us. I like Consort's suggestion of using the photo in post #34, if you can get permission (see backhoe's post #40). I'll be passing this around, but I'll wait in case you make it even better.

I'd like to see a similar ad contrasting Bush with Kerry.

I liked everything except the music, way too upbeat, esp. at the beginning. I also agree Clinton should be captioned if that's the best the audio can get. I only understood him because I already knew what he was saying. I like the concept and especially the tag line.

If the American people are such fools that we return a Democrat to the White House at this time we are going to deserve the mayhem that befalls us and the rest of the world.

It is a good ad, except the final words Bush says could be interpreted as "if you vote against Bush, you are with the terrorists." I don't take it like that, but if this ad is all over the media the media will interpret the ad that way.
