Oh, oh - even funnier - THIS is what my previous post was about; not the beautiful orange sky.

I'm not going to attempt any complicated tasks today.

This is similar to a phenomenon which periodically occurs in southern Spain and is referred to as the 'Levante'. I'm not a meteorologist, but understood it to be the result of strong wind (and sand) blowing up from North Africa into the Iberian Peninsula. The air would get very heavy and discolored for a few days whenever this occurred.

I doubt that this was "never seen before". The painting "The Scream"'s red sky was inspired by a volcanically induced global red sky that lasted for months.
