Tell me is the AB observable during the day? I always thought it's a night thing. I live way south and have never seen the AB. It's on my list of things I want to experience someday. Thanks for the link I will check it out when I have more time.

By the way I know that the countries that are currently experiencing this sand-AB, who know what sky phenomena, are the same one who killed off all their old people by being stupid. That was our old friends the French. All these countries did suffer greatly from their last heat wave and they too lost several of their senior citizens. They actually tried to deal with the problem unlike the French. You know that has been months ago and when I think about it still makes me mad. Of course it does not take too much to make me mad at the French. But that one will live in my memory forever. Again I will check out the link you so kindly provided it's just that time is in way short supply right now and I know if I start reading I will get WAY into it. Thank you think of me.

Awww...the photographer is just using a Cokin filter and trying to scare up some publicity. Yeah...that's gotta be it.

"sort of reminds one of the Mars horizon. sort of."

Didn't you see the big NASA anouncement? These photos are from the Spirit lander, taken through its micro-optical lens. There are tiny little alp villages on Mars!

"I would like to direct this to the distinguished members of the panel: You lousy corksuckers. You have violated my farging rights. Dis somanumbatching country was founded so that the liberties of common patriotic citizens like me could not be taken away by a bunch of fargin iceholes...like yourselves."

Attention all shoppers It's Cancellation Day Yes the Big Adios Is just a few hours away

It's last call To do your shopping At the Last Mall

You'll need the tools for survival And the medicine for the blues Sweet treats and surprises For the little buckaroos

It's last call To do your shopping At the Last Mall

We've got a sweetheart Sunset Special On all of the standard stuff 'Cause in the morning --that gospel morning You'll have to do for yourself when the going gets tough

Roll your cart back up the aisle Kiss the checkout girls goodbye Ride the ramp to the freeway Beneath the blood orange sky

It's last call To do your shopping At the Last Mall
