It's the President's job to confront problems, not to pass them on to future Presidents and future generations.
This has Clinton's name written all over it.

Great speech. Yes, the gloves have come off. Bring it on.
The one thing that stands out to me is that he gets it, we are at war and the dems whine and deny it. BTW Howlin, did you know JF kerry served in Vietnam? </sarcasm> Wouldn't it be great to see a count of how many times he has mentioned it during the race?

The REason to Vote for Bush/Cheney:
Great events will turn on this election. The man who sits in the Oval Office will set the course of the war on terror, and the direction of our economy. The security and prosperity of America are at stake. Our course is clear.

The democrats have focused on baseless attacks against GWB to fire up their base, but the problem is, the democrats have nothing in the pot for that fire to cook, just angry rhetoric, and baseless attacks

Someday people are going to read these speeches as some of the greatest and most stirring ever written.
George W. Bush is going to go down in history as one of the greatest presidents this country, or the world, has ever known.

Someday people are going to read these speeches as some of the greatest and most stirring ever written. This has been debated here before but I agree with you. When historians look back at the events and actions that shaped the world for decades to come, they will find President Bush as the architect.

I have to agree, we are living in times that require a leader to step forward and stop the proliferation of Nuclear Weapons before they end up in the hands of terrorist who will think little about murdering millions in the name of a false God. These Muslim fanatic's represent evil and they must be confronted. The oppressed millions under the thumbs of the Mullah's in Iran and all other places in the world, represent evil in it's purist form. The day they get hold of a Nuclear Bomb, is the day they use it

We're witnessing a clear trend -- it looks like we have a winner in the Republican primaries. (Laughter and applause.) The other party's nomination battle is still playing out. The candidates are an interesting group, with diverse opinions: For tax cuts, and against them. For NAFTA, and against NAFTA. For the Patriot Act, and against the Patriot Act. In favor of liberating Iraq, and opposed to it. And that's just one senator from Massachusetts. (Laughter and applause.) GO get 'em Mr. President!!

I've said this before, and I'll say it again...
In January 2009 when George W. Bush climbs aboard Marine One for the last time and turns to wave back to all of us as he and Laura head back to their Ranch in Crawford, Texas, This world will be a better place because of his leadership.
I believe we will see a totally different Middle East that will have risen up against the Tyranny they have lived under for hundreds of years. I belive we will see an America with far more choices for our health care and our retirement needs. I believe we will see legislation that puts an end to bogus lawsuits. I believe we will see Gas prices around a Dollar a Gallon, and an economy that has been growing rapidly since mid 2003.
Yes, he will go down as one hell of a leader
