Some very sick puppy out there. This doesn't sound like the kind of cause that would attract a terrorist of the al-Qaeda ilk.
The first letter, dated Oct. 15, was discovered at a U.S. Postal facility in Greenville, S.C. The FBI said a typed message on the exterior of the envelope said: "caution RICIN POISON Enclosed in sealed container Do not open without proper protection." The FBI said that inside the envelope was a small, metal vial that contained ricin,.... I guess that explains why there were no cases of poisoning. I was thinking increased security measures were responsible, but apparently the mailer didn't intend to actually harm anyone.
