Sen. Kerry's dead letter
Washington Times ^ | 2/24/04

On the theory that the best defense is a good offense, Sen. John Kerry, in an open letter to President Bush, tried to intimidate the president into not raising the senator's defense and foreign policy voting record as an issue during the campaign. He told the president to stop questioning his "commitment to the defense of our country ... [or ]the patriotism of Democrats who question the direction of our nation." Then, using one of the reddest herrings ever drawn across the public's collective political olfactory sense, he averred: "I'd like to know what it is Republicans who didn't serve in Vietnam have against those of us who did." One searches in vain for a sincere syllable in that flagrant decoy.

But it cannot be used as a shield to protect him from a fair assessment of his judgment and wisdom as a statesman.

Kerrys lack of judgement and wisdom disqualifies him as a statesman. He has been wrong on every issue for over 30 years.

"I'd like to know what it is Republicans who didn't serve in Vietnam have against those of us who did."

Well Mr. Big Ketchup, I didn't serve in Nam. Neither did the vast majority of Americans, regardless of how they morphed on the political-leanings board over the last 3 decades to where they stand today.

Incredibly indignant, arrogant and naive position for Kerry to take, IMO. So be it.

I know this was the writer of the article that wrote this sentence, not Kerry. But one thing is for sure, NO ONE intimidates this President.

That is one of his best qualities, IMO

His "Patriotism" appears to consist of murdering a NVA already wounded by one or more .50 caliber rounds from his swift boat. For that he got a silver star? Yet another self-confessed war crimes committed by Mr. Kerry. I question not only his voting record but his war record. RELEASE YOUR WAR RECORDS, MR KERRY!

You'd think that someone who is as proud as Kerry claims to be about his time in Vietnam would willingly have thrown open his records a long time ago, so that all the world could see what his "heroic" actions consisted of.

It certainly isn't modesty or humility which is holding him back.

The more that I read about Kerry's service in Viet Nam, his medals, his Purple Hearts, his getting out early, his jump into a Congressional race, his going to France to make a treaty with the Viet Cong prior to his lying testimony in Congress, his defaming honorable vietnam vets, his working with Jane Fonda, his support of Sandenistas, El Salvedorian rebels, Cuba, the Soviets, the Viet Cong, the PLO, and his emails of late to the Ayatola in Iran telling them how he'll make normal relations with them, all make me want to vomit. The guy is a serious case of needing to be put up against a wall and shot for treason. Where the hell are the Bush people??? They need to be spending money putting this stuff out, because the media won't. Hell, they support everything this guy ever did.

ARROGANT ass?

An ARROGANT

microbe on the maggot on the turd on the donkey's butt hairs . . .

his heart,
his morals,
his intellect,
his Americanism,
his integrity,
his 'honesty,'
his insight,
. . .

all together are insufficient to support anything bigger.

I STILL THINK

EVERY conservative commentator, speech, talk show host etc. should open every segment of any media anything with

A DEMAND FOR KERRY'S MILITARY RECORDS TO BE RELEASED.

every media segment until they are released or until the election.

Be a relentless broken record about that as well as about Shrillery's thesis.

Lurch Kerry keeps complaining about the Bush administration and Bush "surrogates" denigrating his Vietnam war service, and I keep asking, WHERE? Ed Gillespie has prefaced nearly every remark about Kerry with praise for the man's military service, as have nearly all the republicans I've seen commenting on Kerry. This letter, and Lurch's continuing attempt to deflect attention from his Senate record by constantly bringing up his service in vietnam validates what Repubs have been saying all along - - Kerry has a LOT of explaining to do when it comes to his 19 years of senate votes to underfund the military and the intellgence services.

Its because Kerry's claim is hollow and dripping with phonyness, just like the man himself.

Maybe he got it for that civilian woman and her baby that his outfit killed in that one firefight. Of course, Kerry's a Rat, and so supports unlimited abortion on demand, so maybe, with the kid, he was just practicing a post-birth abortion. The woman? Well, you know, collateral damage, unfortunate accident, mumble mumble... (BTW, did you know I served in Vietnam and was a hero? Do you know who I am?)
