The prognosis is bleak, because none of this mayhem shows any sign of ending. The conclusions are equally bleak, because, quite frankly, there is no answer to Africa's problems, no solution that hasn't been tried before, and failed."
Actually, there ARE some solutions, but nobody has the will or stomach (not even me) to actually apply them.
Sometimes it makes wish we HAD done what the damned "governments" there are constantly accusing us of doing. If we had, they wouldn't be around to try to shift the blame onto our shoulders, rather than keeping it squarely on their own, where it belongs.

Duh! I know; I know; and, "if our four fathers were alive today, they'd be rolling in their graves".
We know what I meant, though!

Oops! I thought this was something about NAMBLA taking over someone's farm.

They couldn't find Namibia on a map of Africa. They could care less.

You had four fathers? I only have one.
I did have some Forefathers, though.

Read the post before that one. That was why it was in quotation marks.
Also, I have never seen anyone present who was also rolling in their grave, either.

What the article does not say is that close to a million of the 1.8 million lives in the far northern part of the country, where the whites own almost nothing. Nujoma is an idiot supreme, he once wanted to plant yogurt trees! And his highest qualification is 6th grade...Mugabe's mini-me.

meanwhile, John F (Fonda) Kerry issued a statement claiming the much needed land reform must go ahead and that property rights should be respected. He feels very strongly both ways.

If we're looking for immigrant labor in the States, I'd be happy to offer residency and even citizenship to these farmers who are being evicted from their land. They'd be appreciative, hard-working, for-the-most-part-decent people. Then, after Namibia is a barren wasteland in a decade, they can return if they'd like.

Yep, you know, the trees that produce yogurt. And he also instructed the farmers to plant a certain brand of tea ("Joko Tea"), because that is what he likes...He was a cleaner in a factory before becoming a "freedom fighter".
To: Ironfocus
Maybe he should do something useful and encourage rooibos tea production, if they don't already.

Way above him and his clowns to do something useful. Namibia was pretty peaceful up to now, but the first mob already descended on a white farm a while ago. The police stopped them from entering the farmhouse, but left them to pretty much destroy the rest of the farm. If you read between the lines, the SWAPO government is saying that if the international community provides them with money to buy the white farms, they will not confiscate them. Any takers?

If I was the winner in the MegaMillions, I'd buy them! Actually I saw one for sale on the Internet and it was only US200,000.000. Wow.
