If he had HIV, I don't think they'll need "Old Sparky". They'll get whatever they deserve, and have plenty of time to think about it. Not necessarily. Earvin "Magic" Johnson has had HIV for about 15 years now and he's still going strong -- it never developed into AIDS.

Well, isn't homosexuality evil?
Is having sex with your future wife, before you get married evil? I see it as no worse off than what most homosexuals do.
There are people out there that are genuinely attracted to the same sex, and wish to express love with a partner of the same sex, in the same manner a husband and wife would.
Unnatural? Sure, but they cannot see it. This man KNEW he was doing wrong, unless he was actually insane. Homosexuals feel that all they are doing is expressing love.

Well then we will disagree. In a heterosexual relationship, at least the people are doing what God designed to them to do, even if they have the context wrong.

I supposed that's supposed to temper it's evilness with a little compassion ? Regardless of what they "feel", it is still evil.

He provided mankind with the option of forgiveness after one repents.
For the unrepentant, the standards have not changed

Sin, is sin. We only place degrees of how bad a sin is down here on earth with our laws.

Yup, so to those that rejected Jesus as He preached, Jesus would reply, "Well, God hates you then!"
What of young people who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but because of week constitutions, they engange in sex before Marriage? Are they outcasts who will go to hell if they die?

I don't think you would ever catch me arguing with God, shipmate. I was only trying to point out that you can't put homosexual sex on the same footing with heterosexual sex.

Oh yes I can. It's a sin, just as sex outside of marriage. Methinks you can't believe this because if you did this in your youth, well then that would have made you no better off than those damn dirty gays. And that just can't be possible. We are better than those GAYS... right?

Oh yeah, while you're at it, let's build a straw man. So now I have some kind of mental problem affecting my attitude towards gays, attributed to my lost and wasted youth ? Get lost.

Yup, so to those that rejected Jesus as He preached, Jesus would reply, "Well, God hates you then!" I'm sure that the Almighty was severely displeased with the behavior displayed at the time by those you mention.
But He was certainly willing to forgive any who repented and turned away from their former course. Saul / Paul immediately springs to mind.
What of young people who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but because of week constitutions,
The seven day variety?
they engange in sex before Marriage?
They have the free will to sin or not to sin. There are many ways to deal with temptation besides succumbing.
Are they outcasts
No, they're in the company of most of humanity.
who will go to hell
This is not certain. While alive, they always have the option of repenting.
if they die?
if? No ifs about it. That's a certainty for all living things.
To: Texaggie79
I would. They "Gay Community" seems to be full of this crap.

No, I'm just suggesting there might be a reason you are lost to logic on this issue. Sin is a sin my friend. We are in the same boat with homosexuals when it comes to that. Now you are correct about repentance.
But as far as me judging what two consenting adults do, that's between them and God. I believe homosexuality to be a sin, but I'm not God, am I?

Wouldn't that just be cool if I lived a great christian life all my life, prayed for forgiveness regularly, obeyed God, worshipped Him, but just out of coincidence I happened to die while performing a sin, and was unlucky enough to ask forgiveness before I died.
Oh well, I guess God figures you win some you lose some...

Actaully, they've been at this for a while. It is interesting to read this, then look at Morford's Columns..especially the review of "The Passion of the Christ". Some things never change.
Romans 1
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
I wouldn't draw any sort of moral equivalence between extramarital sex and this.

Yep -- for starters, I don't want anything to do with them, not as friends, not as neighbors, not as co-workers, not as brothers in Christ unless they're ready to repent. Sorry. No more tolerance.
