Capitalists of the world exploit. You have nothing to lose but your poverty.

Both Kerry and Edwards have used the term "social justice" in their campaign rhetoric. It's a loaded term that means a lot of bad things for freedom loving people everywhere. What is really meant is that they intend to take more money from people and give to others--redistribution. At least these people are predictable.

Social Justice: Code for Communism

A Republic can achieve a Communist state but there is much that must happen first. I seek "social justice"; it sounds appealing yet when I seek a definition none appears.

America must first change from a Republic to a Democracy. Unfortunately, there are many who favor that America as a democracy.

"Republics decline into democracies and democracies degenerate into despotisms." -Aristotle

and later

Alexander Hamilton wrote, "We are now forming a republican form of government. Real liberty is not found in the extremes of democracy . . . .
If we incline too much to democracy, we shall soon shoot into a monarchy, or some other form of dictatorship."

America is not far from being a democracy. As it stands at this moment the top 50% of America's income earners pay 96% of all the income tax collected. It would not be a terrible burden were that same 50% to go ahead and pay the remaining 4% currently being paid by the lower 50% of America's income earners. At that moment America would have 50% of the income earners paying 100% of the income tax. That is very close to a democracy. How long before it would be suggested that with a little effort the top 49% of the income earners could pay 100% of the taxes. Now you have a democracy.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of Liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist Program until one day America will be a Socialist Nation without ever knowing how it happened" A quote from Norman Thomas, six-time Socialist Party presidential candidate and one of the founders of the ACLU.

You must admit, America is receptieve.

Teddy Roosevelt on the Fall of the Republic

"The Roman Republic fell, not because of the ambition of Caesar or Augustus, but because it had already long ceased to be in any real sense a republic at all. When the sturdy Roman plebeian, who lived by his own labor, who voted without reward according to his own convictions, and who with his fellows formed in war the terrible Roman legion, had been changed into an idle creature who craved nothing in life save the gratification of a thirst for vapid excitement, who was fed by the state, and who directly or indirectly sold his vote to the highest bidder, then the end of the Republic was at hand, and nothing could save it. The laws were the same as they had been, but the people behind the laws had changed, and so the laws counted for nothing."

Free men are not equal.
Equal men are not free.
