It may be a week or two before I get to see this one, but lemmetellya, I'm there!
BTW, according to Bill O'Reilly, the only Wednesday openings bigger than this are Fellowship of the Ring and The Phantom Menace. God gets two out of three, pretty darn slick!

I think it's great that some liberals are attending and coming away impressed! We need to encourage that. I'm trying to get my commie in-laws to go. One good thing to stress is that the movie is NOT political, it is universal.
Also, use their claims of open-mindedness: tell them to forget all the hype and reviews (good or bad), and see for themselves. I'm working on my MIL!

Its not my post.
Sorry.
I don't know what is being said either.
I will not see/support Gibson's (Gnostic/Mystic/Out of Context) movie is where I stand.
My comment was that even Colson is now on the 'band wagon' of supporters. (ie. 'Circle the wagons')
I'm waiting to see when Gibson's next 'Gnostic/Mystic' movie will be done.

Bible believers care if you see this movie? I don't think so. Bible-thumpers, maybe...

Unless you regard the gospel accounts in the Bible gnostic/mystic you can't regard
The Passion of The Christ that way.
Other than an effective character of the devil lurking in the crowds (showing it was a spiritual battle) this redition of Christ's passion is totally biblically accurate.
How people preport to judge what they refuse to see, I'll never know.

How people preport to judge what they refuse to 'see', I'll never know. You yourself have, 'said it'.
(You do have a great screen name!)

What does Paul's frustration with his non-believing Jewish brethren have to do with your condemnation/dismissal of a movie about the Passion of Jesus Christ you refuse to see?
Were he alive today, do you think Paul would more likely jump at the chance to see it, or instead stand on the sidelines like you, and ridicule it?
