Get Out, Mr. Nader (Whiner alert!)

You're only fueling defeatism--and you defeated my father.

Watching Ralph Nader declare his candidacy was like having a terrible flashback. Oh no--not this again! I'm not saying we should muzzle independent voices or rule out third parties. Mr. Nader has a right to run for president. And I have a right to say, What an awful idea.

Donna Brazille ran it. Karenna just meddled in it. They're both losers though.

Dear Karenna:

Your dad ran the worse campaign in my life (LibKill b.1957).

He was worst than Mondale, worse than Dole!

He couldn't even carry your 'home state' of Tennessee.

Did Nadir (misspelling intentional) help defeat your dad? Sure he did, but his play was nowhere near as effective as Ross Perot's vote-splitting of '92 and '96.

Your dad is a loser, and so are you. Get used to it.

Drink cheap wine.

Mr. Nader said he expected to draw the majority of his voters from defecting Bush supporters.

That's absolutely correct! Seriously, Ralph, run. I was a Bush supporter, but I'm so disillusioned about the WMDs, and the way Bush stole Florida, and how he lost all those jobs and destroyed the economy and hates children and all that stuff, so I'll vote for you instead of him. Really. I swear.

If you're bumbling,...

Didn't he "sell" his vote on the Gulf War I to the highest "primetime-facetime" bidder?

I wonder who's dumb enough to buy what Karenna's selling?

Unlike her father, she's not a member of that exclusive shakedown club of 100, like her father was.

Oh, the fence sitters that sell their votes.

Nader gives honest liberals a choice. I don't believe in any of Nader's socialist/communist ideals, but at least he is honest about them. Sore, Loserman, and Jean F'n Carrie are not.

Yes, Perot stayed in the race in 1996 until election day, and got 8 million votes (vs. almost 20 million in 1992). I don't think he affected the outcome in 1996, other than maybe keeping Clinton under 50% of the popular vote.
