When you are able to speak to this person again, maybe you can ask her why is it that liberals ALWAYS assume that opinions contrary to their own are bigoted. They have no idea of their own arrogance and intolerance, and it is time we start pointing it out.

Conservatives have kept quiet too long, in the interest of civility, and in so doing, we have allowed the left to have a distorted view of their own superiority of viewpoint. The battle for the future of America is too important this year to follow that old dictum of not talking about politics, religion or money.

My Libertarian priciples and the US constitution say that the government must prove the facts that justify imprisonment. How do you know he is part of a terror conspiracy? It is just beyond me that a group that calls itself conservative would trust the government with this type of power. I don't care what type of nonsense Ashcroft or Condi spouts, they are putting a citizen in jail without evidence. If he was really a bad guy, they would be able to find some crime to charge him with. But they havn't even charged him with jay-walking.

How does a so-called conservative sit by and watch that without wanting to storm the Bastille and free him?

Oh and BTW, dirty bombs are small affairs that might blow up one building, not a city. It is a conventional bomb with some radioactive garbage in it.

Truly an unbelievable comment from a so-called conservative. If you could say something so foolish, there is no point in arguing.

Nevertheless, what you have just done is called 'begging the question'. You have assumed as a premise that which you were trying to prove. It is circular reasoning. The entire point of requiring proof of guilt in a trial is to establish guilt. You are assuming guilt with no evidence, let alone a trial.

I grew to dislike manhattantown, though I was born and raised there. When I learned neat fun facts like Hilly winning 77+% of the nyc vote, I knew it was over. Electing mayor Bloomie - a guy who shouldn't be dogcatcher - was another blow.
