You forgot the barf alert. Keeping what's private in the bedroom is fine. Calling gay sexual relationships a marriage moves gay sexual relations out of the private bedroom and onto the public stage. Kids thrive better with a mother and a father. Gay relationships are not mainstream nor are they equal to hetero relationships. They will simply never be ideal for raising a family. Too many kids get messed up along the way in life. Why mess them up from the get go by depriving them of both a mother and a father?

Hi :-p OK, all your inane comments aside, here in California, at least, Mayor Newsome broke the law by supplying marriage licenses. We had a vote here, and OVERWHELMINGLY came to the conclusion that marriage in California would be between a man and a woman.

So I guess I'll add my personal two cents to the above comments.

I have nothing against gays at all. We all have our stuff, and there are much worse "sins" IMHO. The only thing I stand against are gays pushing a gay agenda.

If all gays wanted were equal rights, then why are they not satisfied with a civil union in which they have all the rights of marriage? To insist on calling it marriage goes beyond rights. It is a demand that we redefine the word marriage and throw away a a cultural tradition.
