WhatdoesSen.John Kerry stand for? This is now the political parlor game of the presidential election season suddenly upon us. Of course, what doesn't John Kerry stand for?
There may be something purely comic in the anecdote about the Kerry constituent who in 1991 received two letters from the Massachusetts senator, nine days apart, the first opposing the Gulf War, the second supporting it. But this anecdote is as good a metaphor as any for Mr. Kerry's stands on significant issues. In January, for example, he was castigating President Bush for his "exaggeration" of the terrorist threat

Ah yes, he reminds me of the old TV show "Flipper". Kerry the dolphin?
Nah, that is degrading to dolphins. The are supposedly smart animals.

The fact that he (Kerry) is even considering a foreign policy which includes negotiating with terrorists...a dialogue with them....it's scary. He claims that he wants to correct the mistakes made by GWB in the past 3 1/2 years. Does that make anyone reading this feel comfy about the future? I don't think that's the road we should be considering. Been there, done that for 8 years under Klintooon.

The worst thing is that you had to tell us all that since the Bush campaign is still asleep at the wheel. Why isn't this in the talking points and campaign ads?
