I'm not basing my support on dollars raised or spent. I'm just looking at who is the best candidate that has a chance of making the runoff. Teresa Doggett Taylor does not have that chance (and would not make the support list even if she did.)
He was complaining about deceptive campaign tactics.
He only mentioned Sharon McCally (334th District Court) calling herself "The George W. Bush Republican" when Bush did not appoint her as judge.
Others have complained about McCally using a picture of Bush on her materials.
My complaint about McCally's materials is that they don't differentiate her from her opponent. It is nice to know she got her daughter a dog for her birthday.
I guess that is the problem with running a positive campaign. Everyone running on a Republican ticket claims to be "conservative", "pro life", "pro family", "George Bush", "NRA/RKBA", etc.
My decision to vote for McCally is basically a vote against Rondon, who has allied himself with Blakemore.

"I've heard good things about Bain and a friend recommended Munoz. I was NOT impressed with Anderson when I met her. Don't know too much about McCally but she's running against Rondon, who is a Perry appointee and Blakemore client. So are Bernal and Carter. That's reason enough for me to oppose them because (a) Perry has a TERRIBLE track record of appointing judges - he picks RINOs and rewards the "big 5" law firms by picking judges from their ranks and (b) Blakemore is a sleazy peice of garbage so any candidate who goes to him and hires him has a lot of explaining to do."
I think as a public figure, anyone can use Bush's image/name without permission. I don't agree with Woodfill's implication that calling herself a "George W. Bush Republican" implies his endorsement.
I suspect Woodfill is getting pressure from Perry to support his appointee who is in danger of being defeated.
