What? You mean they think someone somewhere actually ought to think about controlling their sexual impulses? Oh my! Don't they believe in liberty? /sarcasm

A friend of mine in the Navy said that when their ship stopped by Bosnia / Croatia, all the sailors went straight to the brothels - and a week later the ships doctor had about 100 cases of VD.

Prostitution will be very hard to stop in Europ's militarily occupied countries. Prostitution in most of Europe is legal and if you ever should visit, for instance Germany, you find 24/7 staffed bordello's downtown often right in the center of cities. Just think of the taxes such legal businesses generate for tax hungry cities. There is no a chance to stop such lucrative legal enterprises. It's habitually ingrained.

Western troops abroad should be banned from brothels and sex clubs which fuel an illegal trade in women forced into prostitution, the United States and Norway have urged their NATO allies.

U.S. President George W. Bush has since set a zero-tolerance policy with respect to human trafficking for all American military personnel, including peacekeepers in the Balkans.

Thank G-d for President George W. (and First Lady Laura) Bush !
