This is the Hearing that was held Wednesday. It turned into many shouting matches. At one point Assistant Secretary Roger Noriega told Rep. Shiela Jackson Lee (D TX) that it, "was none of her business" when she pressed him on a time his life had been threatened.

It just started getting to the good part and runs for another two hours.

future options to restore security and democracy.

In my opinion, those concepts are contradictory in the context of Haiti and in many another Third World scociety. The kindest thing to do under the circumstances, would be to reverse the cruel Clinton interference of 1994, and bring back General Cedras, if he is still able to Govern.

Of course, if the foolish persist in this cant about "Democracy," which Madison considered an abomination, we might as well send David Frum To Haiti. After all, if he advocates sending American boys to their deaths to foist Democracy on peoples all over the Near and Middle Easts, he can surely show us how it can be done a short distance off our Southern shores.

This is the first time the Hearing has been shown on C-SPAN TV. It was covered up on Wednesday because the House was in session. I heard some of it (yet to come) on C-SPAN Radio and it does get good. It's on RealPlayer but it's just not the same.

Overall, The Congression Racist Black Caucus is almost out of control in their questioning.

So I guess one of the "charges" they hope to pin on the "Bush Regime" is that we armed the rebels via the Dominican Republic.

I wonder if Corrine Brown, Shiela J-L or Mad Maxine ever watch a tape of themselves. Between the three of them their IQ has to reach close to 200.
