This is nice work by citizensunited.org. Such nice work that I sent them a donation so they can keep it on the air. It goes right to the heart of what Kerry is and isn't. Think The Great Pretender.

Oh-oh, yes Im the great pretender Pretending that Im doing well My need is such I pretend too much Im lonely but no one can tell
Oh-oh, yes Im the great pretender Adrift in a world of my own Ive played the game but to my real shame Youve left me to grieve all alone
Too real is this feeling of make-believe Too real when I feel what my heart cant conceal
Yes Im the great pretender Just laughin and gay like a clown I seem to be what Im not, you see Im wearing my heart like a crown Pretending that youre still around

When and where has this ad been shown? I like the ad but want to get more info in CitizensUnited before I make any donation. Is anyone here very familiar with their efforts and can vouch for them?

Great ad.
I want to see this on TV, over and over again.
But I would still like to see the line:
"Marry a couple of rich heiresses and you too can be a Senator."

It's funny but unfair of course. Kerry never pretended he was not rich, or that his wife has not mega rich. America has a long tradition of electing rich "liberals." We had Jefferson, Madison, Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, JFK, and LBJ. Carter was modestly rich. Indeed these days, few politicians in high office are not either rich (5 plus million net worth), or modestly rich (over 1 million net worth).
By the way, a professor from Georgia state university was on NPR about his recent study tracking the individual stock trades of senators. Amazingly, they do ever better than corporate insiders as a group with stock trades. They seem to be trading on insider information big time. As a general rule, when they buy stocks, they generally take off almost immediately, and when they sell, the stocks flatten out. Their annualized return is 12% higher than the market as a whole, which frankly isn't statistically possible for such a "large" sample, without the dice being loaded. Ain't that special? Time to get AG Spitzer on the case.
