What a Bush Campaign Ad Should Look Like

In 1993, a car bomb exploded in the parking deck under the World Trade Center, killing six people.
Five Islamic extremists were later sentenced to life in prison for their crime.
In 1996, a tanker truck exploded at the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia, killing 19 Americans and wounding 372 others.
The United States brought charges against fourteen known terrorists.
In 1998, 250 people, including 12 Americans, were killed when the United States Embassies in Tanzania and Kenya were simultaneously bombed.
In response, the United States fired missiles into Afghanistan and Sudan. Four suspects were later brought to trial.
In 2000, 17 United States sailors were murdered by suicide bombers who blew themselves up alongside the USS Cole in the harbor of Aden, Yemen.
The government of Yemen arrested several suspects, ten of which later escaped from what was supposed to be a maximum security facility.
In 2001, four airplanes were hijacked over the United States. By the end of the day almost 3000 Americans had lost their lives.
Since then, the United States has captured thousands of terrorists and killed thousands more. Instead of carrying out new attacks, those responsible are hunted animals, fleeing from one hole to another. And the dictators who once supported them have learned to sleep very, very lightly.
And in the mean time over fifty million peoples have been freed from tyranny, most for the first time in their lives.
When you go to the polls this November, cast a vote for global leadership, not global appeasement.

I think some of the GOP ad money needs to be spent reminding the American people of how each of the major parties is likely to respond to the next attack on the United States. I'm sure they could even find some juicy Kerry quotes to go along with each incident.

You might add on that clip of Kerry on National TV saying that Bush has scared us and that terrorism should be a crimnal matter!!!!!
To: Pan_Yan
That would make an excellent piece!

I think the narrative of some of Kerrys speeches and votes against funding the CIA and Defense Dept would make good background.

Oh my the Rats and their media buddies would scream like scalded dogs.
It would work!
I add the line that fighting terrorism is not a law enforcement issue. We tried it Kerry's way and got kicked in the gut.

I'll increase my donation to the RNC, to help fund this commercial. PY, where did you put the checkbook? :)They won't run this commercial. They'll just run something saying "America is safer today because of President Bush", without mentioning these events, and something about how Bush has shown "leadership". You don't want to have any specific facts in your commercials though, and especially ones which create a contrast between Bush and the Clinton administration or include any Kerry quotes. It might be too effective. Plus, Rove wants to run a POSITIVE campaign. And don't anybody question it. He's being paid to run a campaign and you aren't.

Clever! You are probably already aware, but in case you are not, Hannity is going to be sponsoring a Bush campaign ad contest! He said when he gets home from his tour he'll be putting details together. I think both of you should consider a submission.

Plus, Rove wants to run a POSITIVE campaign. "The conservatives will vote for us, besides, WHERE ELSE ARE THEY GOING TO GO?"

Ask yourselves this:
Who would Bin Laden, Assad, Kim Jong Il, etc want to see as President, Bush or Kerry?
I think that the answer is obvious.

How about this:
In 2002 - 2004, the United States military was bombing terrorists and states which support terrorism.
In 1999, the United States military was bombing innocent Christians for the BENEFIT OF terrorists.
Which do you prefer?
