Corner Shot is a new weapon system designed for urban combat which enables the user to observe and engage a target from behind a corner without exposing any body parts.

The highly technological system was officially unveiled in late December 2003 in Israel and is already being used by some of the world?s elite Special Forces.

Corner Shot attaches to most handguns currently used by Special Forces, for example the GLOCK, SIG SAUER, CZ or BERETTA. It includes a small, high-resolution camera and monitor, which can observe and view a target from various vantage points.

The detachable video camera enables forces to scan an area prior to pinpointing a target and broadcast the footage directly, in real time, to the operating team behind, or to a monitor at Command Post in the rear.

The system was invented by Amos Golan, a former Israeli Anti-Terrorist Unit Commander, with a view to enabling security forces to completely protect themselves from the line of fire when engaging in close urban armed combat.

Let me know when they perfected shooting through the corner.

Such a system was perfected in the 1940's it was installed on at least 4 US navy ships unfortunately the recoil is a bit heavy as a shoulder fired weapon 16 inch guns can easily shoot through most corners.

that is a humongous big chunk of junk to carry around to do the job the pistol and video sight alone could do as well.
Mount the camera on the pistol and the monitor on the helmet and go.
