New STOPP Effort Aimed at Ousting Planned Parenthood from Girl Scouts

WASHINGTON, March 11 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Recently, Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. CEO Kathy Cloninger told NBC News, "We have relationships...with Planned Parenthood organizations across the country, to bring information-based sex education programs to girls." In response to this admission, American Life League's STOPP International has announced a new initiative that will compile a definitive list of Girl Scout councils along with their positions and intent to partner with Planned Parenthood. "Historically, parents have viewed the Girl Scouts as a safe, wholesome educational organization for their daughters to join," said Jim Sedlak, executive director of STOPP International. "In light of Cloninger's recent comments, STOPP International is creating a tool by which parents can determine if their local Girl Scouts still deserve that trust."

The STOPP International team is working tirelessly to determine whether individual Girl Scout councils are working with Planned Parenthood. Once this information is compiled it will be released publicly. "Wherever the Planned Parenthood predators are preying on our young, we will be there," added Sedlak. Responding to the Girl Scouts' claim that, "all program activities are age-appropriate," and that Girl Scouting will "help girls develop meaningful values and ethics," Sedlak responded, "Planned Parenthood's programs expose young girls to pornographic images and sexually explicit information that leads them down the road to the contraceptive and abortion mentality. This information does not help develop meaningful values, but instead it is often damaging to women. The Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. needs to cut all ties with this pro-death organization."

STOPP international is taking the guess work out of this situation for concerned parents and cookie buyers by contacting every Girl Scout council in the country seeking clarification on their relationship, if any, with Planned Parenthood. This information will be compiled into a comprehensive list that will be released to the public during the week of April 5. STOPP International is an American Life League project dedicated to fighting Planned Parenthood's anti-life agenda. ALL, with more than 300,000 supporting families, is the nation's largest pro-life educational organization.

The girl scouts have a lot of issues that need to be addressed, leftist and lesbian activists have taken over this organization, and they need to be called to the carpet for it. Unfortunately the Girl Scouts as an organization has fallen for the PC Diversity nonsense and it is destroying their organization from within. Troop Leaders and higher ups are open Lesbians having children, refusal of the organization to even address the problems this sort of thing is causing (girls leaving scouts rather than be forced into troops with these sorts of leaders etc...)

Its very ugly folks and no one seems to be paying attention. It was at one time a great Christian organization that helped girls become great women, and many of the volunteers and individuals involved still do great work, but the organizaiton today is where the Catholic church was 25-30 years ago after it started allowing Homosexuals into the priesthood... and we all know how that has turned out. Its rotting from within, and people are walking away rather than fighting for this historically great organization.

Something needs to be done and in a big way, or the Girl Scouts are going to become just another PC organization that stands for nothing but embraces everything.
