From a blogger on the net:

The Spy Who Loved Me
There's been a grand jury indictment of a former Congressional staffer on charged of spying for Iraq.

MARCH 11--A former Democratic congressional aide was arrested today on charges that she worked as an Iraqi spy. Susan Lindauer, 41, has been charged with conspiring to work with the Iraqi Intelligence Service and engaging in prohibited financial transactions with Saddam Hussein's government, according to the below indictment unsealed today by federal prosecutors in New York. Lindauer, arrested this morning at her Maryland home, allegedly met with Iraqi agents during several visits to the country's U.N. mission, where she "accepted various payments" in return "for services provided to the IIS in the course of her ongoing intelligence relationship with them." Lindauer, who also allegedly traveled to Iraq in early-2002 to meet with IIS agents, has previously worked as a press spokesperson for several elected officials, including former Senator Carol Moseley-Braun and congressmen Ron Wyden and Peter DeFazio. (14 pages)

Gee, a Democrat who was actively working to ensure the defeat of America at the hands of one of its enemies? I'm shocked, shocked I tell you!

If the republicans had any sense they would make a field day out of this!Apparently the "democratzis" have been in bed with Saddam all this time, not to mention the liberal media! They should try to associate her with as many "democratzis" as possible.

"The indictment alleges that Lindauer met with a representative of the Iraqi Intelligence Service in New York on September 19, 2001, just eight days after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon."

"The indictment charges that not long after 9/11, Lindauer and her co-conspirators gave Iraqi intelligence agents information about Iraqi expatriates in the United States. Prosecutors say Lindauer usually met with Iraqi intelligence agents in New York and was reimbursed for her travel and meals."

These two paragraphs are striking. Why would she be meeting with Iraqi agents so soon after 9/11, unless Saddam was up to his eyeballs in 9/11? Remember, nobody ever developed enough evidence against Al Capone to charge him with the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre.

Obviously, it is much harder to work with the Islamofascists to undermine the American way, than it used to be with the Communists. There are just not that many beliefs that Islamofascists hold in common with the typical leftie-liberal socialist Democrats in this country. Perhaps the socialist Democrats should take up Islam, the religion of peace, so they may develop some rapport with the revolutionaries when they finally come to take over the ramparts that now defend the West.

Fox reported that she also had worked for FoxNews but had been 'terminated'.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wyden and DiFazio are still feeding her secrets. These two are terrorist sypathisers in the worst regard. I think Wyden is up for re-election, unfortunately in Red Oregon this will be a resume inhancer.

He was.

Here is the text...the source links are at the link posted above.

All you need to remember are three names...Terry Nichols (OKC), Ramzi Yousef (1993 WTC) and Khalid Shaikh Mohammed (9/11).

Yousef and Nichols crossed paths in the Phillipines. Mohammed was Yousef's uncle. It is interesting to note that Yousef entered the United States on an Iraqi passport and had been known among the New York fundamentalists as "Rashid, the Iraqi". Another name that could be thrown into the mix is Abdul Rahman Yasin, a U.S. citizen who moved to Iraq in the 1960's and returned to the U.S. in 1992. After the 1993 WTC bombing, Yasin fled to Iraq and was given money and housing by Saddam Hussein's regime. There is currently a 5 million dollar reward on his head.

You are right on the mark. Hopefully, she can provide us with the link between Saddam and 9/11. There are good reasons to believe that he was also involved in WTC I.

If the republicans had any sense they would make a field day out of this!

Been working from home today with the news on in the background. In all reports that I've heard, she has only been identified as a "former Congressional Aide" Well - guess what? I had to flip thru CNN to get to Fox and, lo and behold, she is the second cousin of Andrew Card. Only on CNN did I hear this but, how interesting is it that NOBODY identified her employers but, yet, CNN identifies her as Andy Card's second cousin!!!! I swear I hate the media. This probably will be how she is identified from here on out.

Unfortunately, it's also why the Republicans will let this lside.

Who w/an acid burn would *scrub....hands with a toilet brush*???????????

Legal insanity is the inability to distinguish between right and wrong. She thought the USA was wrong and Iraq and Libya were right.

She is not insane. She is just a leftist.

WHO reimbursed her? Her employer-of-the-month?

Is it normal to work for a Congressman or Senator for just a couple of months as a press secretary? Is it SOP on the Hill to be passed around one state's delegation? Or passed around among all the Democrats?
