Remember us? The Hippies and the Freaks? Well, we're the Baby Boomers now. And, guess what? We're all grown up and we have money…

...that we made during that "decade of greed" that was sooooo awful! And now we drive mini-vans! And we looooove Rosie O'Donnell! So watch out... we are Deep Thinkers now. Isn't it something to read this article and reflect on all the years that have gone by... and these people still haven't learned anything?

I maybe close in age to her, but I believe her "generation" is still having acid flashbacks and still thinking about the time they spent in Canada.

spending previous generations (i.e. The Baby Boomers) are doing that Gen-X and Y will end up paying for.

And Boomers have been paying for the Great Society programs of the previous generation and so on. If acting like a victim comforts you, whine on.

Ego driven "Me generation" philosophy sees only whats in it for "me".
Project this onto the rest of us, So "They" can only do things for "Thier " benefit.

favorites from various sources. Sloppy me, don't have the authors. But the combinations are nice:

stunningly biased and condescending,
pretentious idiot shrew, with delusions of grandeur.

angry apostle of reactionary liberalism, professional contrarian, commentator emancipated from facts

"The liberal is continually angry, as only a self-important man can be, with his civilization, his culture, his country and his folks back home. His is an infantile world view. At the core of a liberal is the spoiled child -- miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats."

"It's the same old song and dance, really. The same old lies and fabrications. Just history repeating itself thanks to those who, if they ever did learn it, seem to have forgotten. "

Yeah, same ol actually. Had it happen with Pearl Harbor too.

including all the spending previous generations (i.e. The Baby Boomers) are doing that Gen-X and Y will end up paying for.

Who the hell do you think brought the peace and propserity to this country that allows you to sit on your butt at your computer and post tripe like that?

If you've got issues with your parents, take it up with them.

"We dropped out, grew our hair, dressed, danced, sang, played music, made love, got high and ..."

And while they were busy doing all that, we got obliterated at the WTC.

Smart people, these liberals.

You destroyed homes, cities, schools, power plants, palaces, museums and hospitals. [Really? Where's the evidence of that, apart from Saddam's palaces] You killed thousands and thousands of innocent people [Um, Becky, those were Iraqi soldiers] and hundreds of good kids who were willing to give their lives for their country. And this time, when we asked you why, you told us it was to give them something you call "freedom". But, you see, we don't think the kind of freedom you're talking about is actually real freedom at all. In fact, we don't think the people in that country are feeling anything that even remotely resembles freedom right now. We think they're feeling devastated. [Of course they are. They're devastated that they don't have to live in fear of Uday, Qusay and Saddam's henchmen executing them for no reason, they're devastated about the new schools, water plants, electric plants, roads and hospitals they're now stuck with, they're devastated that they now actually have a say in their government. You're right, Becky, freedom's a devastating concept, when you're experiencing it for the first time.]

Just looked at your bio. That's not a mountain -- that's a hill. I can understand your propensity to overstate now. I apologize for asking the question in my previous post. Consider it rhetorical, X (not that you had the balls to reply anyway).
