George W. Bush is not a perfect guy, but than again who is. He did scrub up a dirtied White House, and brought back a professional presidential atmosphere. He did what Klintoon didn't do, which was to take the Taliban and Saddam to the woodshed. The American soldier again respects and loves their President. Bush has had as much, if not more on his plate than F.D.R. did in 1941. All of this while the Dumborats are whining and undermining him and our troops. In my opinion, the Democrats and Kerry are more dangerous to America then the terrorists!!!

Great list. This poor guy went through more in his first 8 months than most presidents go through in two terms. The late start because of the attempted coup on his presidency, the obstruction of getting his cabinet set up (e.g. the Ashcroft confirmation), the Chinese Spy plane crisis, the energy shortage in California and the selling of his tax-plan for weeks on-end as the Democratics battled him at every turn...Bush was a very busy man before 9/11 ever occured. Yet, with all this going on, we still have some Democrats claiming that he was also planning a war in Iraq. Wow! And Super Mario called him a simpleton last night.

Speaking of undermining, that's just what Kerry minions will be doing in their upcoming (or is it tentative) "fact finding" trip to Iraq. Can you imagine the Republicans going to the European and Pacific theaters in 1944 to gather negatives to use against President Roosevelt in the '44 elections? The Demonrats would say, but that was a just war. Obviously they don't consider the War on Terror to be a just war; to them, it's just a war with which to batter Bush.

I was a young boy during World War II, served in the Korean conflict, could have strangled war protesters during the Vietnam war, etc.! The difference between than and now, was the desire to win and patriotism. Todays average American is basically good. However, takes everything for granted. Expects a conflict to be like getting fast food. Fast. The war against world wide terrorism can't be fought on one battle field. This is going to require resolve and will take a long time. The worst kind of conflict anybody can get into is with religious zealots. The war on terrorism will be fought in many, many small un-glorified battles, like what is being done in Iraq, now. What will derail and put us at risk, will be an apathetic liberal left wing socialist government. The lefties can't wait to take the White House. God Bless Bush in November 2004!
