Code Pinko Medea Benjamin Flees When Confronted by Doctor Raoul at Dover AFB

Code Pink founder Medea Benjamin, a leader of the so-called anti-war movement, fled the scene when Doctor Raoul confronted her on her pro-communist background today at an anti-war rally outside Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.

The rally, attended by about three hundred people, was being held to highlight the Pentagon's long-standing policy of not allowing media coverage of the return of fallen American servicemen and women.

Doctor Raoul, sans sign or costume, stood across a six lane highway from the rally and addressed them using a portable PA system. He asked the group, which included Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) and some military family members who are against the war on terrorism, why they were standing with those who support the killers of their children serving overseas. Raoul explained how the groups there today stand with A.N.S.W.E.R. and its statement giving "unconditional support" to what they call the "Iraq anti-colonial resistance."

Labor activists Nancy Lessin and Charlie Richardson, the husband and wife duo credited with founding Military Families Speak Out, tried to bully Raoul from speaking out, accusing him of being "disrespectful."

Others walked over and complained Raoul was "disrupting" the protest. Raoul told them to take it up with Medea, pointing out that Medea and her group, Code Pink, have no problem disrupting meetings while this was a public gathering. A while later, Medea Benjamin dragged a military mother across the six lane highway to have her challenge Raoul. A crowd of about thirty protesters formed around them. The mother snarled, "Who the hell do you think you are?"

Raoul replied he was a military family member who was against those supporting the thugs trying to kill our soldiers. He asked her if she knew who she was standing with, explaining again their communist pedigree and phony peace agenda. He repeated his message about A.N.S.W.E.R.'s statement giving their "unconditional support" to what they call the "Iraq anti-colonial resistance."

The woman said, "They're good people. I'd march with them anytime and I'll march with them again."

Raoul turned his attention to the woman's puppetmaster, Medea Benjamin. "Medea," he said, "You lived in Cuba. You wrote for a Cuban newspaper."

Medea interrupted, saying, "That's not about that here."

Raoul continued, "You wrote a book called Cuba, Thoughts about Revolution, by Medea Benjamin. The book can be found on Amazon. C'mon, Medea, what is it? Are you a peace activist or are you a revolutionary.

Medea took off without answering.

The crowd remained and closed in on Raoul. A state trooper intervened and told the protesters to back off, which they did. The media was there for the confrontation with Medea. Let's see what they choose to report.

>>Grammy, thanks, but I followed in the steps of MrConfettiman and others.

Thanks for the nod, Kristinn.

At this point, it no longer matters who started what.

I'm just proud to know I was there at the beginning with you, Angelwood, and Doctor Raoul.

Hope all is well with each of you. Things continue to go great with me. Joe (MCM)

Sounds good.

I wouldn't want to stand against the antiwar protesters myself, unless I was with other people. That's just my personal opinion, because I have seen them get rather violent. They've stolen counterprotester's signs, etc, and they've even shed the blood of a few people.

Good to hear from you. We've got a road trip going.....

Fayetteville will never be the same. Well at least they'll never have gone through so much beer and BBQ in a weekend.
