Translation: We want AQ destroyed, but we won't help do it. And what did exactly Spain do in WW II to fight Hitler? Gee, if I remember correctly Franco was an ally of Hitler.

I wish a reporter would throw this in John Kerry's face and ask him how the US has driven away Spain, since he is always harping on how we need all of our "old" allies. How are we responsible again? How is Bush responsible for this? How can J Kerry and the masses of fools like him NOT realize that the TERRORISTS will do these things and they don't care who gets hurt?!!

Pathetic, I didn't realize Spain had so many cowards. Have the French been migrating South across their border?

Michael Moore, Susan Surandon, Tim Robbins, Babs, John Kerry, the Democrat Party and the rest of the Bush-Hating crowd will have the blood of untold numbers of future innocent victims and our brave fighting men and women on their hands. Have mercy on their souls.

Europeans paid tribute to the Barbary pirates, because it was cheaper than confronting them. Jefferson was unable to create an international coalition to rid the world of that problem, so, Guess what? He acted "unilaterally". One result is in the first line of the Marine Corps hymn.

Hate to see this...on one day, the Spanish are out in the streets in record numbers, shouting their defiance to terrorists...

On the next they are capitulating to them at the ballot box.

Or so it appears.

Our correspondent says the late swing to the Socialists raises one disturbing thought - if al-Qaeda was responsible for Thursday's attacks, it appears to have had significant influence in changing the government of a leading Western democracy.

At least the BBC recognized the capitulation to terrorist aspect of this. I expect to see the liberal media fully downplay this.

This does note bode well for the U.S.

Spanish voters are leftist cowards. Al Qaeda will be find encouragement in this news. Art Bell said tonight on his show words to this effect: "It seems terrorism works . . ." and predicted even more attacks in Europe. I agree. Al Qaeda will interpret the message sent by Spanish voters to mean that it must step up its program of terror in Europe. Soon bombs will be exploding in Italy, Poland and elsewhere.

Al Qaeda will soon be setting off bombs in the U.S. as well. Islamic terrorists will be convinced that they can sway elections by bombing innocent people. .

When I first heard of the bombing in Spain, I thought that the terrorists had made a serious mistake, that they had definitively let the world know what kind of people they truly are. Unfortunately, that has not proven to be the case.

Evil strikes Spain, and they flee into darkness. I pray that we shall not follow them.

"The lights are going off all over Europe and I fear it will be a long time before they come back on."

When AlQaeda sees the success they've had in Spain, they're going to go after a whole bunch of countries to try to repeat it.

The Spanish are going to have an awful lot of blood on their hands.

<< Spain pm to withdraw [Troops FRom] Iraq >>

Once a FASCISocialialisT state -- always a FASCISocialialisT state.

First a Hitler lickspittle state and now a squalidly socialistic EUROpeon Neo-Soviet servant satellite state.

As Al-qaeda Goreleone once barfed it, "leopards do not change their stripes."

Al-qaeda 199 - Spain Zip!

He can't just waltz right in & take over can he? Don't they have to wait until they count the hanging chads & have courts rule?

Seriously, there is no inauguration down the road a few months? No transition time?
