French Basques Thursday stormed the grounds of the holiday home of Paul Bremer, the U.S. chief administrator in Iraq, to protest against the American-led invasion of the country.

I didn't know we'd invaded France.

But I wonder how long it will be before we have to invade France --AGAIN, to save them from aggressors AGAIN to whom they've capitulated AGAIN.

I just checked on Mapquest - Amb. Bremer's house is near the West coast city of Biarritz, which is very close to Spain. It's also an area that is growing quite a bit as people migrate from the congested areas on the French Riviera. There's some definite investment value in a house there.

As to why Bremer has a house in France, he did go to school in Paris. Speaks fluent French.

I can't get rid of a creepy suspicion that ETA was responsible for the Madrid bombing of 3/11/04.

• The election of the Spanish Socialist party was very advantageous to ETA. The Socialists are well known to be soft of Basque separatist ideals.
• The ETA has proven they are cold-blooded killers.
• "Framing" Al Queda by planting a "van with Koran music" and bomb making materials is too easy.
