Mansoor Ijaz slamming Richard Clarke on Fox'N Friends
Fox News Channel

Posted on 03/22/2004 4:28:39 AM PST by ReleaseTheHounds

Mansoor Ijaz just called Richard Clarke essentially a liar. Challenged virtually all of his claims -- and accused Clarke of stonewalling Ijaz's efforts to capture Bin Laden via the Sudanese.

Can someone point out the list of things Mansoor has stated that were found to be actually true?

I appreciate his response to Clarke, but I don't know if I buy his BS all the time because I've had a hard time finding something he stated or claimed that was true.

Could anyone please show me something!

Read Miniter's book. It's got quite a bit on Ijaz, especially on what happened with UBL and Sudan. No-one's refuted word one of that.

Sorry, don't have time to do the due diligence for you -- maybe try a Google search if you're really interested.

From my perspective, Monsoor has always been candid, informed, sober in his opinions and perspective, and prescient. He's well connected and doesn't appear to have an axe to grind. Plus he has been "helpful" in both Clinton Administration and in the Bush Administration.

Now get to work.

Condi has been following this guy around playing tag team with him. This is fun to watch. No more Joe Wilson crap this time. The WH has learned its lesson from last summer: no charge unanswered. And when the Bush people do answer, it's done with effect.

Condi was marvelous this morning. You should have seen her.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Many of the Clinton Legacy posts have the information. Richard Minter's book has alot of corroborating details. Dick Morris articles address many of the same topics.

She sliced and diced - making it clear again that the adults are in charge now.

Furthermore, Rick Leventhal (embedded reporter at Fox) was interviewed this morning and stated categorically that EVERY city/village the Americans walked into last year they were greeted with smiles, waves, and thanks.

Now Mansoor trashes Clarke.

There is an unorchestrated fullcourt press on....and I'm lovin' it!

My concern is, and this is confirmed by previous examples (Joe Wilson and the SOTU 16 Words, the so-called AWOL, Bush did cocaine, etc), that big media will basically push Clarke's allegations while ignoring any substantial counterpoints or fact verification.

What did that jerk have to say? They must be worried that the truth is gonna override Clarke's, Kerry, et al lies.

I disagree. Rice looked angry. She went through Clarke like a hot knife through warm butter.

She's seen this before, and she doesn't like it. And I agree with her. It's assclown stuff. Trust me on this: she isn't shaken; she's angry. On ABC's GMA, she had to sit there and listen to Clarke give his spiel for almost ten minutes. When Gibson turned to her it was like watching a thoroughbred bolt out of the gate. She lit into Clarke, then into his arguments. She's angry, and Bush and Rove said, "Do your worst, Condi!" VERY nice to see how quickly the WH is at shooting this down.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

>>Mansoor was a clintoon supporter/donor.

And turned against them because of their lack of action on OBL/terrorism.

Well, well, well. Lookee here. I think I answered my own question. I just found Free Press listed as an imprint of Simon & Shyster. Figures.

In a nutshell, It used, shall we say, less then nice words to discribe Mansoor. As is always the case with DU'rs, cuss when you can't negate the facts :)
