Religion-health care lecture series set
Spring Hill College, Mercy Medical and Providence Hospital will present a lecture series beginning this month titled, "Religion, Ethics & Healthcare." The public is invited, and admission is free. The first program, "Feeding Terri Schiavo: Is there a Common Good?" is scheduled for March 30 at 7 p.m. at Spring Hill College's Gautrelet Room and March 31 at 7 p.m. at Mercy Medical's Dining Room, 101 Villa Drive, Daphne. Each presentation will last about 75 minutes. Contact hours have been approved for nurses and social workers. Light refreshments will be served. For information, call 621-4280.
I'm from that area, but haven't lived there in years. Wish I knew someone who would go for us. Spring Hill College is a Catholic (Jesuit) College. I believe Mercy Medical is a Catholic Hospice and Providence Hospital is a Catholic Hospital.
