Wolfowitz has more brains in his ring finger than Albright, Berger and Cohen have put together.

Did Paul Wolfowitz just mention a misquote from the commission's bible as told by Dick Clarke?

I should clarify that, not prevent, but why didn't the Bush administration go after AQ for the Cole bombing when they got into office. Why didn't Clinton?????? Trying to type and catch up, etc. Sorry for that error.
Now Wolfowitz states he hasn't read the book yet, so he can't answer some questions. Wow. This book should be off limits. Some professionals in this panel.
To: Darlin'
Wolfowitz takes no prisoners. He's doing great. Factual, and damaging to Clarke's assertions.

EgoTard Clarke gets his wish tomorrow to sell more books. Expect to see J.F'n.K. carrying it around w/him to all his speeches for handy reference.
To: Darlin'
Wolfowitz still not read book but says quote attributed to him in Clarke book is not accurate and Wolfowitz has never said anything like what he "quotes" - in fact the Clarke "quote" is exactly the opposite of what Wolfowitz is known to say.
"When 1993 bombing happened he focused on Iraq as possible culprit" ... then DemoncRATs shut him down - they realize this Clarke book is becoming a total boondoggle at this point!
To: Steven W.
Translation: Ongoing polling reveals that the Clarke charges have gained no traction and Madeline NotSoBright testimony this morning followed by Colin Powell has so devestated the RATs that Kerry needs to get back to spinning himselfThat is exactly right. The RATS have nothing. Nice try. Next batter up.

Wolfie pointing out that Clarke immediately thought of Iraq when the WTC was bombed in '93 because of Iraq's trying to assasinate Bush 41.
\
That's the same Clarke who now chides Bush for focusing on Iraq.

Wolfowitz is a brilliant man.
Also, he said that the quote attributed to him by Clarke is not only wrong, but that he (Wolfowitz) said nearly the exact opposite.
Let's see Clarke testify under oath to half of this stuff.

Roemer asking Wolfowitz about a claim in Clarke's book.
Good, ask directly of the person this is alleged about.
First, Wolfowitz wants to make a comment about the types of questions. Wants to clear up what a plan is. This notion if a single thing had been done we could have avoided something is not feasible. A plan must go down many pathways and it's not a timetable. Using football metaphors.
Roemer says "We're not saying you could have prevented 9/11" by some of the steps that have been suggested that should have been taken that weren't. He interrupts Wolfowitz a few times.
Now to the Clarke claim: Hasn't read the book--not in bookstores--only to some reporters! He was called by a reporter about a quote that Clarke claims he said about Hitler/Mein Kampf. He says the Clarke quote gets BACKWARD what he has in fact said. The Clarke quote does not reflect Wolfowitz's thoughts then or now.
More on Clarke's "creative" memory: About the Iraq focus and he reads a direct quote from Clarke and points out Clarke's memory is faulty as the timeline he cites about the Bush assassination attempt took place after the time Clarke cites, not before.
Roemer says: "You're doing pretty good for not having read the book, Paul".
Wolfowitz says: "I've read the quotes".

Wolfowitz: "Clarke's creative memory" a wonderful slap down of Clarke. Roehmer is left with a little snipe that Wolfie was doing pretty good for not reading the book! Roehmer actually has to scoot back in his chair at the end of that back and forth.....LOVE THE BODY LANGUAGE, Roehmer, you loser!

I don't know why Freepers worry so much.
Look at our team in action.
Are we not proud?
The adults are running things now.
