[history]
The silly season in Massachusetts politics is traditionally launched by the banter and blarney of the St. Patrick's Day breakfast for pols and pundits held in South Boston, but Democratic Rep. Barney Frank didn't wait for the green eggs and ham to lambaste his Republican opponent by threatening to unleash his mother on him.

Wht really struct me about this article is that the Washington Times still uses the "passe" term of address: "MR. Morse." How nice! Do they just use it in certain sections of the paper?
Someday, I'm going to change my name legally so that Mrs. appears as a part (non-hyphened) of my last name. That way, the libs will have to acknowledge that form of address. Oh, and I'll leave out my first name, so I'll always be called MrsJones.

I refuse to waste your time by telling you that "struct" was supposed to be "struck." You can thank me later.

I'd like to ask Barney's 91-year-old mom what she thought of the homosexual prostitution ring he was running out of his basement.
Or will she beat me senseless for pointing out the perversions of her doughy son?

"I don't know if you've ever been smacked by a 91-year-old..." she must have "smacked the masculinity right out of him..."

I hope Barney's mother has warned him, "Barney, dear, if you're going to get married, you know that will be an end to your keeping male prostitutes in your basement."
