CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) -- When seventh- and eighth-graders asked teacher Ron Fanelle about rumors he was a homosexual and got married to his partner in San Francisco, he told the students it was true.
The class gave him a standing ovation.

This is so typical...read the anti-normal statues of the school. Is there no "don't ask; don't tell" policy at this school either?
To: Oldeconomybuyer
I agree with the teacher on this one.

The class gave him a standing ovation. I guess we can say that the Will and Grace indoctrination infomercials are working great.

Students would only provide a standing ovation if they had been taught that homosexuality is not only something to accepted but celebrated.

I agree with the teacher on this one. I don't agree with the teacher using the Delphi techinque to push his agenda:
A male student began muttering negative comments under his breath, Fanelle said, so he read aloud the sexual harassment code in a student handbook. He also used the opportunity to talk about suffrage, bigotry and the Magna Carta.

"I, for one, find nothing distressing whatsoever in a teacher indicating his or her sexual orientation to my children," parent Elizabeth Rice wrote to Davis."
Thats because you are an ignorant fool, Becky.

"They said, 'We heard you got married on Valentine's Day. Is it true?' I said, 'Yes.' They asked, 'Was it a man?' I said, 'Yes.' Then they gave me a standing ovation." God help us.

Students would only provide a standing ovation if they had been taught that homosexuality is not only something to accepted but celebrated. They've been enlightened, unlike their bigoted, homophobic, fundamentalist, anti-intellectual, behind-the-times, parents. Did I leave anything out?

I didn't like that either, or that the teacher filed complaints against two other teachers who supposedly 'outed' him.

A teacher participates in a ceremony against the laws of the state of California. I'd question allowing such a "man" teach children even if he weren't a pervert.

If we can't have religion in the schools, why is it we can have homosexuality? If religion must be limited to churches, then limit homosexuality to bath houses.

A male student began muttering negative comments under his breath, Fanelle said, so he read aloud the sexual harassment code in a student handbook. He also used the opportunity to talk about suffrage, bigotry and the Magna Carta. Too bad the kid didn't think quickly enough and quote the First Amendment of the US CONSTITUTION back at the teacher!

If religion must be limited to churches, then limit homosexuality to bath houses. There is no question that the homosexuals have been relentlessly evangelizing about their beliefs.
It makes me uncomfortable, so I want the state to protect my sensitive feelings and protect me from being compelled to hear about homosexuality.
It's my right to be free from the homosexuality "belief system."

When your doctor comes in to the waiting room one day, and says "I have to agree with the cancer on this one." Just how would you take it?
(G-d forbid that should happen, just making a rhetorical point.)

A standing ovation by 7th and 8th graders? Yikes! And I am not supposed to be worried about an agenda in elementary school? Sure.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
"Many parents are supporting Fanelle."
Oh for Pete's sake- MANY ARE NOT!!! The mainstream media ALWAYS makes statements like this supporting the gay agenda.
